Will not stay connected
This is the proper remote for my xiaomi mibox S . However the thing will not stay connected and constantly needs to be reconnected to the mi box by holding down two buttons and putting it close to the box. I'd recommend going with a different listing or trying a different solution to your dying xiaomi mi box remote. And yes I'm using high quality batteries and yes my me box is completely up to date.

Definitely not recommended!!
Horrible remote! Lucky if the buttons work the first second or third time pressing if it works. Nice item to get your money back.

Kills Batteries
Since we've purchased this remote, it is blowing through batteries. Have to replace the batteries weekly. Also, it has a hard time syncing up with the device.

Hay que programarlo cada vez que prendes la caja, por ende no la puedes prender con el control
