Worked great was able to repair a cracked fuel tank on my tractor, no more leaks and really easy to use, plus saved me from having to buy a new tank! Had everything I needed included and more.

Great plastic welder for larger jobs. The staple tool does a good job getting up to temp quickly and maintaining heat. Welds quickly and the staples work great in closing cracks. The paddle welder works very well melting plastic welding rods to finalize fill cracks, then melting steel wool or stainless mesh into the area and providing a much stronger repair. I repaired my city trash can after the top was seriously broken. It stands up well to the inevitable abuse with no new damage. Not awesome for small detail work, so I also purchased this companies smaller paddle welder. It works well. Make sure you wear gloves….now I have two more scars on my left hand. It does get hot!

I do get a bit exited about new tools, but this is a great piece of kit. Was rear-ended by an un-insured driver and thought I would need to replace the bumper, but thought for the price and watching a few you-tube videos would try to repair it myself.....turned out better than I expected, did take a bit of time to get it looking good, but got there in the end. This tool + 2-3hrs bumper was repaired and refitted, much cheaper and satisfying than paying a body shop or spending $300+ on a replacement bumper. DIY TIP - Cable Ties work great with the hot iron as plastic filler

It was working great until the metal end melted the plastic handle and it came apart. Now it is useless and I stuck finding something else. Complete waste of my hard earned money.

Great unit for plastic repair. Very fast heat-up time. Fixed my office chair and saved a few hundred dollars.
