What is the different with hardware active balancer and smart active balancer?

The smart active balancers have communication capabilities(Bluetooth & UART & RS485), but hardware active balancers do not.

Why does it don't work?

Please check if the wiring is correct first, then you can connect to app and check the setting for balancer.

How effective is the balancer?

The balance current is over 5A when the voltage differece ≥900mV/the balance current is over 500mA when the voltage differece ≥100mV.
