When I buy cables, I like to get the most advanced available. Why? Most of my computers are pretty up to date and what ever isn't now will probably be replaced within a year or 2 at the most. I don't want to slow down fast computers with slow cables. Why buy any peripheral or cable that isn't state of the art now rather than have to replace it in the near run. Also, I use a lot of external memory, SSD's & hard drives, some of which I included in the picture. So not only do I need fast cables but I prefer cables to be the length I actually need and not a cable which sits coiled up between the drive and the computer. I saw this cable and it fit my needs & desires. 8" long and conforming to USB 4 specs. I also like the Graphene braided sheath. It's stiff but that's really not a problem at this length. As I do with all the peripherals & accessories I buy, I put it through its paces and it does seem to be what they claim. I'm pleased with it. This cable also has some very nice refinements. Besides the graphene sheath, which is state of the art, the bend protection at the end of each plug is heavy duty and it has grips on either side of the USB adapter to make it easier to insert and remove the adapter from the computer and the external device. Nice touches. It shows they though out the design thoroughly. I might, at this price buy a couple more as spare. I make high speed external SSD drives for clients, mostly for backups, and perhaps I should give them a cable with the drive.

I bought this as it had a return policy. Most of the cables only provided replacement policy. Probably the seller is confident with the quality of the product. I would say it is good and does what it claims. I don't even have to think about returning it. Charging speed, display support, build quality and performance are all great. I would recommend it 100%.

Kabel hält, was es verspricht. Der Kabeldurchmesser ist optisch viel dicker, als normale Standard-USB-Ladekabel. Ich traue diesem Kabel auch mehr als 40 gbit/s zu -kann ich aber momentan nicht testen, mangels Thunderbolt 5 Peripherie.
