Have an old car, and did not want expense of replacing seat cover, just because of bad split from entering driver's side. I didn't want anything tacky or temporary, and found this tape! All the colors! I found one that is very close to the original leather color, and it matches very well. Even better, it is slightly textured, and fits smoothly covering the long tear perfectly! I just had to use one strip of tape. It is very hot summer here, and I was concerned that the tape would come loose or something, but it has not! The car is in my garage, but has spent some very hot hours in parking lots. The tape has not been affected by the heat. It has been a pleasure to have a neat car seat, without an ugly, growing tear... proud of my old car again.

I have a loveseat that's in really bad shape. Eventually it will be relegated to the basement lounge. But I just can't afford to replace it right now. I had my doubts, but this tape works great! You can see the edges of course, but honestly it blends so well I have stopped seeing them. I went to photograph them and even completely missed one because i had entirely forgotten it. The quality of the tape is great and good looking. And after many weeks of constant use, it has also prevented further damage. This is a 20-year-old loveseat that wasn't super high quality in the first place, and this tape has made it a ton easier to live with. Great affordable fix!

My puppy clawed a hole between the cushions of my leather couch. The color wasn’t a great match, but you can’t see it, anyway. So far it is holding very well. And the puppy is being watched more closely!

I bought this to repair some tears on my seats in my van. Initially it was good eventually after like 2 months the adhesive started to peeling away and rolling up. So it works for little while but with normal use of your seats it wont last very long. I have a good amount left of the roll I purchased, so I will have to reapply it.

I’ve had the tape on my leather seat in my truck for almost an entire month, with no issues. It’s durable and thick, with ample adhesive. Not certain about all the negative reviews, because I’m not experiencing any of those. Also, with 100° temps, I think my tape would be unraveling from my seat too. No issues as of this writing. My only problem is purchasing the wrong color gray, was just like the one complaint, then why didn’t they just exchange it?

Easy to install and seems to be sticking way better than gray tape. Wife's vehicle has a huge damaged area on the drivers seat from getting in and out. About 15 inches long. Installed it 2 weeks ago and seems to be sticking good. Took 5 minutes to install. Its a 2015 Honda Pilot with leather seats and we are going to drive it until the wheels fall off because we are getting ready to retire and I'm not spending 50 grand to replace it right now.

I used this tape on a black ottoman. I had a very large tear on the top, at least 5 inches long and 4 in wide. I put the tape over a long rectangle area. It looks great. It stays down I am very pleased.

Not a bad product but wasn’t as good as a lot of reviews said. It was easy to use and to apply but it ended up peeling off the side of the seat of my car a few weeks later. I followed the directions, and we’ll have to do it all over again. A bit disappointed. The color was close, but wasn’t close enough.
