Does this phone only work with call manager or can i use it with pbx in a flash?

I'm testing this phone with a 802.3af poe injector (nexxt aw190nxt12). the phone always shows "network unavailable". any suggestions?

We have to continually reset the phones to get them to register. Anyone else having this issue?
