The alarm is great. No issues with it, the instructions could be a little better, they just kind of assume you know how you are suppose to hook up the starter kill relay. Other than that! Works great, happy with the product.

It works great got it for my mother's new car

This is probably a good alarm system. However, it came with instructions written in Spanish. I'm not very fluent in Spanish, so it's gonna take me longer to install. No biggie, but should've had English, and other languages.

I bought 2 of these. One for myself and one for my brother. After a littler research, I was able to do both of them myself. I only have a basic understanding of 12v, so if I can do it anyone can. As long as you do your research first, its fairly easy, and will save you hundreds in install fees. Alarms work great, had mine for 6 months now and it has never false alarmed.

I have installed many alarms and Viper is one that is the most reliable. The value back then in the middle range and now days more expensive. But there is no compromise and would always spend the extra for the better product. When also adding a remote was very easy. If you are reading this don’t doubt this brand in security and reliability.

Product looks good but according to the manufacturer/distributer if you bought it from AMAZON your warranty is void. Also the instructions are in Spanish so if you only speak English you are out of luck, if you bought the 3106V you can download a 3105V manual but NO INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. Also according to the manufacturer/Distributer this is not a do-It-Yourself item it MUST be installed by an AUTHORIZED dealer. If I can't figure out how to install the unit it will go back. Truly a version of being ripped-off. Luckily Amazon was good enough to create a return label if I have to return it. Also with the manual being in Spanish you can't tell if all the parts are there since it looks like it has been opened before. The one star is for the manufacture/distributer and not for Amazon. Also if you contact the company you will be going around in circles since they don't seem to get what you are trying to tell them.

Directions suck , nowhere does it tell you in directions how to get negative out put for the lights, after hours of trying to figure it out we removed the cover and there is a jump on the board that switches it to negative. The should offer to outputs for the lights positive and negative. As a consumer we should not have to open things up to see how they work, poor design, I just hope that after all this that it gives years of good service. Because installing it sucked.
