The media could not be loaded. This lightsaber is wayyyy better than I expected. I went off of the few reviews on here but wow was I surprised when we received it. It was easy to put together but the screws are super tiny. They are for securing it into the handle. You have to unscrew the very bottom of the handle (silver part) to charge it with the USB-C. Very simple. This thing has so many different features that are not listed. It does character voices and lightsaber sounds for different characters. It changes to multiple solid colors for each character. It has music and quotes from the movies. It has different sounds for the way you swing it and battle blocking. There are so many! You can change the volume as well which is nice because it’s loud! You can find and change the different features by how long you hold down the main button and the number of times the light around the main button blinks. To change the color, you hold down the main button for it to blink twice then press the button over and over to get different colors. That is how this one worked. Not sure if they are all the same or not. It was most definitely worth the money. There isn’t a chance that the $300 lightsaber is better than this one. I am not even a huge fan of Star Wars and this lightsaber made me excited for my son. He loves it. Buy it, trust me!

My son loves it! My little Padawan wanted a lightsaber for his birthday, so I got him this one and it was a hit. All his little friends want one now so they can run around and have Jedi vs Sith battles. I put a mount on wall next to his bed so he can have his lightsaber close while he sleeps.

My son loves it!! He used his own $ to buy this and it was money well spent according to him. So many functions I think he’s got them all down now.

GREAT!!!! A little complicated on settings. Goto YOUTUBE for examples! Here is the best one I found... ( Obi-Wan SE Lightsaber from Saberforms ). FYI HINT!!!!! The control button on one of my sabers fell out!!! OMG!!! Luckily I found it!!! It screws in, make sure to tighten!!! I am going to put some RC model Blue glue on it,,, One drop. Anyway pretty COOL... Great for Samurai sword training!!!! Versus using a BORING BOKEN (Training wooden sword). WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!!!!! Everyone that sees it is just as Amazed as you are... HAVE FUN...May the force be with you!

The media could not be loaded. I don’t know about these other light sabers that are $300 or more, because they can’t be much better than this one! The heft and weight is very substantial in the hand. The sound effects are just absolutely phenomenal. You can adjust different sound fonts, but I like the one that sounds just like the saber in the movie series ‘. I just cannot describe how well this thing performs. Yes, I am a huge fan, have been since the 70s. What I would have given for this as a young teen! All I know is the young teen inside me is having a ball with this thing. I recently got smaller light sabers for my grandchildren; wait till they see this! The force is staring! Ah.. the battles that are brewing. It’s full adult size. I’ve been smacking it around a bit, it seems like it will stand up to some epic battles.

I was really excited to gift this to my son for Christmas but it didn’t come with any charger or instructions so now I have to return it and I have no time to get a replacement before Christmas ☹️ - Update : I was able to easily return and replace this item. The replacement is perfect. It has all the screws instructions and charger. This one definitely looks brand new and unopened. My son is obsessed with it! It has a very realistic feel and it is very responsive. Super fun for battles!

I should first point out that it is not an exact replica of the movie prop. That being said, purchasing a control box to go over the button will make it substantially more accurate. The hilt is very solid and well made. There's many other saber manufacturers that kind of skimp with the quality of the aluminum parts and the threading. This is not the case. The threading is very strong and parts screw together very smooth and make it very solid fit. The electronics core was actually more than I expected it to be. Very well wired with what looks to be a thicker gauge that I'm used to and I'm very happy with that. And the core removal for battery recharge is made very easy by the type of connections which you normally have to pay a lot more for. Overall very impressed with this purchase.
