I've been running Mobil 1 (standard full syn) for over 25 years, in about 14 different vehicles... and I've never had a engine or component failure due to oil... including 3 trucks that went over 200K. It's good oil. I'm sure there are a few better ones out there, but Mobil 1 is consistent, available, and priced well for what it is. It is certainly better than some others...

The mileage coverage is great and listed over 10,000 miles but I usually change it by then and within a year.
