New PROGUTTER Square line Gutter Cleaning Scraper

Great piece of kit! Makes cleaning the gutters so much easier and quicker. A bit expensive for what is essentially a bit of molded plastic. Because of this I put off buying it for years and simply moved my ladder more to reach the gutter length. Sadly with advancing years I am getting a bit old to be up and down ladders a lot! Glad I eventually bought it! It has a universal thread so fitted my 3 metre extension pole, so only really have to position the ladder once and gradually extend the pole to reach and clean the gutter length. I recommend this product.

Sturdy for cleaning the gutters but found a bit awkward working from a ladder, correct shape for the gutter.Also bought a water pressure pipe to fit on the hose pipe to wash the gutters, this was bought from Amazon.

Worked really well. Only issue I had was that our aluminium gutters have small brackets over the top at about 100 mm intervals so had to pull the detritus to the bracket and the then pull the detritus under the bracket by hand before using the tool again. No problem if you can access the bracket but difficult when dragging from a distance with the extension pole. I ended up using the wife’s washing line pole to pull it under brackets that were some distance away. Could do with another tool screws into the extension pole but that sits under the height of the gutter.

The concept is good and I thought this would be a great solution attached to a long extension pole. The fit and quality was good albeit simple. However, unfortunately if the top of you gutters are fairly close to your roof tiles the product does not easily fit into the gutter. I even had to use a ladder to retrieve it from the gutter as it got totally stuck. However if you gutters are fairly open then it would work well. A waste of money for me. It needs different sizes to fit different gutter set ups.

Necessary job made a lot less loathed as well as faster and easier. No more scraping knuckles, sturdy good quality. Travels under gutter clips and tiles. Will definitely clear more often as will save much hassle. Neighbour has already borrowed as he spied me using which is worth it as will keep his gunk flooding over his gutter onto my drive. Remember to buy angle adapter if you don’t already have it you need it.

This square line cleaning scraper fits the shape of my bungalow's particular roof guttering perfectly - side angles and all. I purchased it in conjunction with the 'Progutter' angle adapter and a 'Harris' premier 730 3m aluminium extension pole and - with the whole set up screwed together - can simply walk below the guttering of my bungalow to shove the accumulated moss and muck to the ends where I can climb a ladder to scoop it all out from right in front of myself at the site of the down pipes. At the age of 69 now, I am no longer as confident or agile as I once was to stretch and lean over at precarious angles from the top of ladders. With this set-up I no longer need to do that ever again. So, everything is safer and I am 100% happy about that.Eamonn

Worked well cleaning ground floor gutterings on a pole extension - also needs the angle adaptor. The scraper can unscrew from the pole if you put reasonable pressure on it - solved by drilling through both pole male screw and angle adaptor female screw and using a nut and bolt as a cotter pin.

This scraper screws onto a standard extending pole for a paint roller which gives great reach from one position on top of a ladder. This type of metal pole is especially compatible because of its rigidity. When I tried a three piece extending pole that came from a window cleaning set it was too flexible and I wasn't able to get sufficient downward pressure at the scraper end to get a firm grip on the debris that needed shifting. Overall I'm very happy with this tool and would highly recommend it.
