2 by 1 inch Redwood frame in a black 3 year protective exterior quality stain. The quality coatings used help our boards survive the harsh British weather
Quality hinges, fittings and hook and eye side hinge with hard plastic feet to stop pavement moisture and rain penetrating the frame.

We use Rainbows Chalkboard paint on all our boards (probably the best on the market) 50mm by 21mm quality Redwood frame to remain rot free and survive harshest of British weather. Fine to use both traditional chalks and liquid chalk pens / pencils although we recommend traditional chalks if you intend changing the text more frequently.
