This primer is pretty great for the price. I'm a huge fan of W7 products, but don't get me wrong, I also call out their more terrible products when I see them. This one has a few cons - such as the use of silica in the ingredients, which may break someone out if they do not clean it off properly, because it absorbs into skin very quickly. However, that means it is guaranteed to fill pores and reduces their appearance! I have not tried the pore-fection primer from W7 because this one has a noticeable effect on mine, I'm very happy with it. This is not overly oily, either, so don't worry about putting it in specific areas if you have combination skin like I do. I was perfectly fine to apply it all over, including as an eyelid primer! However, don't expect it to moisturise - you should definitely moisturise before/after applying this (I found applying moisturiser in my dry patches after I put the primer on improved the absorption, but most people recommend before. Try both!), as you usually would in your makeup routine. The formula is transparent, so don't worry about it tinting your foundation - I am very pale, so I can't use tinted primers or creams, etc. This is perfect. One thing you need to remember - a little bit goes a LONG way. I use just a tiny, quarter-of-a-pea-sized-blob for my entire eye area. If you apply too much, like I did, it will sit on the skin and won't absorb. If you find yourself thinking 'this isn't working at all!', cut the amount you use in half and apply that! After application, pat it in with warm fingers and let it absorb. A lot of times I preferred to let it sit for a couple of minutes after rubbing it in, as my makeup applied better when it was fully dry. So try it a few ways to see which best suits you! Finally, this product isn't tested on animals. I would deduct a star for the silicate formula but adding one back just for that!

Lovely primer and helps prolong staying power of makeup. It's affordable and does same or even better than what high end primers will do. It applies like a gel to the face. It gives a satin finish. Perfect for dry skin and all skin types.

I find this product very good to use. It reduces redness and helps to keep your make on longer. You only have to use a small amount and leaves your skin feeling silky soft. This is a good primer for a good price. Would highly recommend.

Fine as a primer but doesn’t reduce redness at all. It’s a pale green gel rather than a cream. I like other W7 products- but won’t buy this again as I need to conceal redness

If you’re looking for a budget primer this is worth a try . It’s a silky smooth finish . Can be used with or without makeup. You only need to apply small amount to get a soft , smooth feel. & finish . It does have a silicone texture which I do like the feel of not sure if it has any skincare benefits so keep that in mind . Makeup does lasts from morning to evening without any touch ups until I remove with cleanser . Not had any problems with skin since using , had no breakouts , sensitivity etc . It’s a good alternative from my very expensive brand which I’ve used , I now keep that for best . I give it 5 stars due to the price and its performance.

Lovely primer fits on skin nice I wear under foundation so it stays put I then apply the fixer spray after to hold for finish have bought before but the other style in pink both are good and would recommend worth price paid for bundle bought together

I've used Mary Kay foundation primer for years. I wanted to find something less expensive. I'm very pleased with this primer. I wear makeup just about every day; I'm happy to report that I have no negative skin reactions using this product. The price is excellent, but more importantly, it's a super primer! It goes on smoothly and is not greasy. I let it sit for a minute or so before applying my foundation. I feel like it "sets" better with this little pause. This not only makes my foundation application easier, but it also makes my foundation look more natural. This may be my wishful thinking on my part, but I believe it fills in the fine lines on my face and creates a more 'youthful' look to my skin as well. It has a subtle, pleasant scent, too! Highly recommend!

Ich hatte vorher noch nie Primer genutzt, so dass ich anfangs skeptisch war. Nachdem ich beim ersten Mal viel zu wenig Primer genutzt habe, war meine Haut wirklich babyweich, aber ansonsten hat es mir gar nichts gebracht. Beim zweiten Mal habe ich einfach viel mehr genutzt und kann nun sagen, dass es eine ganz tolle, glatte Hautstruktur zaubert. Da man nicht sieht, wo man es bereits aufgetragen hat, empfiehlt es sich, von Anfang an, großzügig aufzutragen. Dann kurz antrocknen lassen und Makeup oder getönte Tagescreme darüber und schon sieht es super aus - und das Makeup hält auch wirklick länger!

je donne la note de 5 car pour une base , c'est un trés bon produit ! il suffit que d'une noisette pour tout le visage! ont obtient un résultat impeccable une peau très douce , il comble aussi les petites ridules , bref vous obtenez une peau parfaite ! et vous ensuite ont se maquille comme d'habitude et ont obtient un teint frais et d'une douceur incomparable qui dure toute la journée!! super produit a acheter les yeux fermer , je recommande ce produit a toutes vraiment ! maintenant un dernier conseille ! achetées en plusieurs , pour ne pas être en panne!

WOW, where has this been my whole life?! I’ve been looking for a dupe for L’Oréal’s Magic Perfecting Base Primer and haven’t had any luck. I happened across this primer, and was very skeptical because it was so inexpensive. But I bought 2 of them and I am amazed at the blurring power this primer has! It blends in so nice and soft and it sets to a soft matte finish. Makeup goes on top of this primer like silk! It is not like the Loreal Magic Perfecting Base Primer because of the consistency, but it definitely blurs and just feels amazing all day. This is by far my new favorite! I highly recommend that you just give it a try. There’s definitely some magic in these little tubes!
