Comprehensive mental help workbook
The media could not be loaded. This is 415 pages of help. It covers 6 issues and dispels stereotypes. It's fascinating for those with these disorders and for those who love those who do. It drips with compassion and builds confidence. I have ptsd myself and I love this workbook.

Great
My Counselor loves that I got this book and even looked through it herself to get some info.

Not a workbook.
This is not a workbook; it’s a bad wikipedia article that doesn't go into any detail on any of the methods. It’s also poorly written with lots of grammatical errors.

Cogent but comprehensive self-help book
The author starts with a disclaimer. This is probably unnecessary because it is not alternative medicine but complementary medicine. Medical therapy is essential, but so is the quality of life. The latter is dependent on the person’s psychological adaptation to the trauma of illness. This is a compendium of three books. The first two are appetizers leading to the main book of ACT (which is actually a two-in-one book). The main ACT book is scientific and clinical, I found polyvagal therapy to be intriguing. Having a medical background, I found the entire content of the book appealing, though the textbook-feel of it may turn off the uninitiated reader. That is a pity because there is a wealth of information not usually found in the mass-produced self-help books flooding the market.
