Clean, Cool, Premium: The Pi 5 Case I’d Buy Again
I’m genuinely impressed with the ElectroCookie Raspberry Pi 5 aluminum mini tower case. It nails the two things I care about most with a Pi 5 setup: keeping temps under control and making the build look like a finished, professional little machine on the desk. What I love about it 1) It looks premium on a desk The aluminum tower design makes the Pi 5 feel less like a bare board and more like a purpose-built mini computer. It’s compact, clean, and has that “mini workstation” vibe that a lot of plastic cases don’t pull off. 2) Active cooling that actually matters for the Pi 5 The Pi 5 can run hot under load, and this case handles that reality. The included fan helps keep things stable during heavier tasks and longer sessions—exactly what you want if you’re running services, using faster storage, or pushing the board beyond light tinkering. 3) Solid protection + better build confidence Once installed, everything feels secure and protected. It’s the kind of case that makes the whole setup feel more durable and “daily-usable,” not just a project sitting exposed. 4) The color-change is a fun bonus, not the main reason to buy The lighting is a nice touch if you like a little flair, but it doesn’t feel like the case is relying on RGB to sell itself—the fundamentals (materials, fit, cooling) are the real value here. Quick tip Like any Pi case with active cooling, take a minute during setup to route everything cleanly and make sure you’ve got the Pi 5 on a proper power supply—once you do, this becomes a really satisfying, stable enclosure. its SUPER quiet, i mean like no noise! and for the value of what you get it just looks AMAZING! The power button is super ingenious its design is perfect! using a material that passes the led color from the pie through it so its green when on and red when off. Bottom line If you want a case that feels like an upgrade—not just a cover—this is a great pick. It’s sleek, sturdy, runs cooler, and makes the Raspberry Pi 5 feel like a legit mini desktop.

This is by far the best case for the money.
Plenty of working space inside for mini projects I got like 4 hats into it. I repurposed it and didn’t go with their original fan design but it was height I was looking for and a little working room. Plus able to build outside case and slide in was easy. Looks sharp and my little AI pi works great. The sides were great for adding a little usb fan 40mm with the classic fan on board and the 40mm attached to the “glass” stays under 40c most time. Look at 40mm USB fan 4pack for the money but the Pano-mounts get fast delivery to go with this. I’m sure if you are just looking for the jazzy style though the fan and heat sinks in this unit seem great. I just like the roomy design inside and still the class small outside look. M2 posts attach the fan great to the sides. Get yourself assortment pack if you plan on modifying things. I’m certain it works great as is though for many people. Thank you.

Nice great looking and functional chassis
Excellent chassis. Easy to assemble. Fit the M.2 HAT which is a must add to this rig. The 90 degree header that exposes the I/O makes this clean yet extendable. Nice work ElectroCookie! What’s next? ( no worries guys I am not affiliated with this brand. I paid and just sharing) later R

Good but be careful with some Pi hats.
The ElectroCookie Raspberry Pi 5 Case feels sturdy and goes together without any hassle. The fan’s LEDs add a nice visual touch and make the setup look sharp. The only drawback is that the fan sits too close to the board, which makes it difficult to install certain SSD hats. I ran into this while trying to mount an NVMe hat, since the fan blocked the space I needed. I eventually worked around it by using extension ribbon cables and attaching the NVMe drive upside down on top of the case, along with a ZDE 6PCS 16Pin 0.5mm Pitch PCIe FPC cable set to bridge the connection.

Nice case for the Money. Fit riser board for a drive
Definitely a cool case. Put in a new PI 5 with riser board for drive. Everything fit. Nice quality.

Goes together easily and manufacturer really thought it through. Looks great once assembled.
This is definitely a step above what comes with most Raspberry Pi 5 all-inclusive kits. It looks like a tiny desktop and is well worth the price. The metal frame doesn't feel cheap at all and the parts were well protected in the packaging. The fan is also a step up and the heatsink is way better than the more basic ones. Durability appears very high. Assembly takes about 15-20 minutes (if you're meticulous like me). The instructions are super easy to follow. They include spares for every screw, washer, and standoff. That is super nice because the screws are relatively tiny and you might be prone to lose one if you're not paying attention to your workspace. They also include a little screwdriver and it is adequate, but I prefer my small bit driver set, just for comfort and ease of use. It is also handy to have a bit driver with magnetic tips, because there are a couple of times during assembly that it is quite helpful to have the screw stick to the screwdriver. It's also helpful, although not strictly necessary, to have a 5mm socket bit to screw in the standoffs. They go in some pretty tight spaces, but having the socket made quick work of it. Everything lines up and fits the Raspberry Pi perfectly. Not a single alignment issue. And the color-changing LED lights on the fan are pretty cool in the dark, not gonna lie. All in all, I really like it and have given it place of pride on my shelf of equally nerdy doodads. All in all, this is an

Good looking Pi5 case...
A good looking and quality built Pi5 case. It comes with well-written instructions to follow and probably takes about 15min to put together. There's a massive heat sink to dissipate the heat. It has plenty of open space for ventilation. A colorful RGB fan and it's bright at night. I wish they make this case to accommodate a M.2 NVME hat but you can drill some holes to attach it at the top. That's what I'll be doing next, make sure to order a longer FPC cable.
