Vedas in Sanskrit & Hindi

Vedas are quite easy to understand but had pure hindi language that may be typical to understand for those who is not friendly with ancient languages

There are four books in total, all hardcover and very well made and printed. Although they are in Hindi, they are easy to understand. I highly recommend them!!!

I am happy with the books but the packaging could have been better because the box was not strong enough to endure the long journey due to this the edges were damaged. I am glad that I have a treasure of knowledge at my home.

I have got in total 8 books 4 of rigveda, two of atharvaveda, 1each of samveda and yajurveda. There are around 2000/- pages in total of 4 books of rigveda who are passionate about vedas can have these set of books for their knowledge. Gives a better looks to your puja room.

The product description is not at all perfect. I went by the reviews. I got a set of 8 books - all paperbacks around an average of 550 pages each Rig - 4 books - Yajur - 1, Sama-1 Atharva -2. The printed price on each book is Rs. 250 which makes a total of Rs.2000 for 8 books. It was listed for Rs. 2224 + Rs.70 for Delivery charges ie. an excess amount of Rs.224. The packaging was extremely poor and it came torn from all edges. Delivery is through India Post. Luckily each book was individually put in a plastic bag which is why the books escaped with only minor damage to the edges. All the books are from Manoj Publications. The author is Acharya Vedanta Tirtha. All the books are very new 2022 editions except one which was 2021. The paper, size and binding is quite good. The print quality is generally very good but there is an occasional page which is a bit fainter and there are some ink smudges here and there, but the text is still readable. The typeface/font is LARGE and easy to read. Each verse / sentence is in Sanskrit followed by a Hindi translation. There is an introduction in each book which is helpful. The Hindi language is easy to read based on a few pages that I glanced through. There are around 4500 pages to read so it will take me quite a while to read and give my comments on the contents. I hope the seller gives me a refund for Rs.224 that I have been overcharged. Giving it a 4 star because of being overcharged and bad packaging, otherwise the books look good and are reasonably priced.
