Good cheap jacket
I think it's a excellent motorcycle jacket for the price. Fits well and has a removable liner. Tough and holds up riding through brush and branches.

Great protection and breaks all the wind
By far the best bang for your buck. It's kind of stiff. It's hit during the summer even with vents. But the protection you get is well worth it. It's excellent for Spring and Fall riding. Literally breaks all the wind off you. If you have sweats on under it and good gloves, you can ride in 40 degree weather no problem.

great budget jacket.
I've worn this jacket in Pennsylvania summer weather of 2018. Anyone whose on the east coast knows that means 85 degrees plus daily. I have ridden with this jacket, in combination with the hwk pants for close to 1900 miles on my new klr 650. I have ridden with these clothes through all types of weather. The jacket without the lining is good to about 55f in the early mornings before you start getting cold. I wouldn't want this jacket as my only one for the winter but it does a decent job. I just rode through a rainstorm about 25 minutes ago and the jacket keeps all the rain out except around the zipper. I found that my shirt underneath was soaked with a line following the zipper post ride. This jacket does not breath even with the vents open. In hot weather I've found myself completely drenched in sweat. As it is not a hot weather jacket that is fine. The reason a subtract a star is due to the zipper leaking in heavy rain. The armor is nothing more than just foam padding. If I wanted real protection I would upgrade to some legit armor. Overall I'd buy this jacket 10 more times for the price, it is completely worth it. I am 210 pounds at 5' 11 and ordered the x large and it fits like a charm.Update2000 more miles and stuck in a collective 150 miles of drenching downpour rain. This thing kept me dry for the most part. I had to stop on the highway under an overpass due to lightning. I laid out the jacket after being completely drenched and it was dried out by the time the rain stopped, about an hour. I love this thing. I was more soaked than i was swimming. It doesn't provide too much protection but the rain felt like bullets at 70mph and I imagine without it I'd have holes in me (insert laugh). I even hit hail at one point before I gave up riding and this jacket saved me from being something you put on a salad.7000 mile update (6 years later)Still wearing the same jacket...all these years later...still doing its thing. Man I gotta put some more miles on my bike!

Best budget gear
Can't beat this jacket for the price. The liner keeps you warm down to around 40° and the vents work good. Would definitely recommend to anyone on a budget

Just Buy It
One year review. I have worn this jacket for the last year and it is great. Completely worth the money! In the desert of New Mexico at the height of Summer, it is sweltering hot. But to be fair, I did not understand that the straps work to hold the vents open so I was not using the jacket correctly. I can't blame it. But I will say if you live in a really hot climate you might want to get a mesh jacket as well. Anyway, I wore this all winter with its thermal liner and in combination with a vest, I never needed anything more. You can spend a few hundred dollars more and get pretty much the same thing from a brand whose name you only know because they pay somebody on YouTube to tell you what a good brand it is. But I think you should just buy this. And the HWK mesh jacket which I also really enjoy. And you'll still have spent less than for a so-called name brand jacket.

Love it, maybe keep the leathers though.
I love this jacket. Ive been riding for a long time and have always worn the traditional leather. I saw this one on youtube and decided to give it a try. I love the removable liner, its easy to unzip and thin enough to store in a bag on the bike. It has adjust on both the wrist and upper arm so you dont have too much flap. It also has adjustments on both side of your torso. When you do remove the liner, it has vents tbat you can unzip. These actually work, unlike some that don't seem to pull the air out of the jacket. As an added safety bonus its got reflective parts on the back for added visibility and built in body armor. Great jacket for not much more than the price of a hoodie. I found myself leaving the liner our and using this as my warm weather jacket in favor if my leather for cold. But you could very easily use this for both.
