I ordered them to eat after reading reviews but these pencils were foul smelling like chemicals so I returned them without tasting

Oh so yum!!
Explodes with an earthy smell upon unpacking..my aim was to crunch on slate pencils..tastes yum, earthy and nice..wet or dry, swallow or spit..Just tastes sooo good.
