Pfaltzgraff Josephine 24 piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 8, White

Very well packed - no chips or breakage. Nice weight - not as heavy as stoneware, but not flimsy light, like some porcelain can be. I haven”t noticed any imperfections. The bottoms are smooth and well-finished, so they don’t scratch when stacked or when sliding on a wooden surface. The bowls are a good size - big enough for a generous serving of soup or cereal, with room to spare to avoid spilling. They work well in dishwasher and microwave. I use them as everyday dishes, but they work well for special occasions too. Very pleased with this purchase.

Love this set of everyday dishes I bought for my new house. They are simple yet very attractive. My husband really wanted Corelle but I nixed that idea! These plates are substantial. Not light but a reasonable weight. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

I waited a few months so I could use them first before writing a review. I m very happy to say that I love these dishes! They are very durable and attractive. I ordered service for 16 and it was not a mistake, I had a large family dinner and everyone loved the new plates. So far no chips or imperfections, clean up great and retain their shine nicely. I’m very happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great set. The bowls are also the perfect size!

I've been using this set for about a month now, and waited to review them to see if they worked for me. I'm happy to say that they are absolutely wonderful. They are sturdy, yet light weight and hold up well in the dishwasher and microwave. My kids like the size of the cereal bowl. The design is unobtrusive and elegant and can be used in the kitchen for everyday use or on the dinning room table for special occasions, great value for the price.

These are just perfect for what I wanted. I have been wanting new 'everyday' dishes in white for a while but could not seen to find the right dish or pattern. I recently came upon these and instantly fell in love with them. Having had Pfaltzgraf dishes years ago, I knew the quality and sturdiness of the product, but I wanted a lighter weight dish than my previous original oatmeal Pfaltzgraf set. I have also had Corning ware Corelle Dishes for the first 20 years of marriage and wanted a dish heavier than those. After reading many reviews of different dinnerware sets, I settled on this pattern for it's more contemporary look. To my delight, when I unpacked them they were exactly what I was looking for. I have had them now for about three weeks and absolutely know I made the right choice. They are the perfect weight, thickness, sturdy yet beautiful like fine china, great for our everyday use but lovely enough for company. Thank you for a wonderful product.

Solid yet beautiful. I love that they are thicker than china but not as thick and heavy as some other sets. The pattern gives a very classy look to the white plates and they dress up well over a color placemat or tablecloth but also nice to use as everyday dinnerware.

I love this set of dishes. As other customers have commented, they are solid plates and bowls without the weight. These days, I just want everything to be lighter. They're also incredibly pretty. I would recommend. My only issue with the set was that one dish came chipped. I have a small kitchen and was washing and putting away the dishes as I unpacked the box. Of course the chipped dish was among the last. Not worth it to pack everything up again...but if you're reading this review and work for Pfaltzgraff or Amazon, please note and consider sending me a replacement dish. :-)
