The JBL Xtreme 4 has blown me away. It’s much louder than my previous speaker, and the sound quality is incredible. I’ve taken it jogging, river rafting, and even on vacation. It handled mud, sand, and being fully submerged in water for 15–20 minutes — and still worked perfectly afterward. The battery life also really impressed me; even at full volume, it lasted a solid 6 hours in the sun and water. Picked this for around the house. Not a audiophile by any means but I still like high quality sound and I like the lows to be full and prominent. I know jbl does a very good job with their stuff but I was actually very surprised at how well and how full the sound was. If you get the app and change the sound profile I does and very good job with even the bass heavy death core, classic rock sounds amazing. Lol, I put this on top of my fridge to play music in the kitchen and with half volume playing korn I can feel the floor vibrate. Might get another for my toolbox at work! Also the packaging was impressive lol, I kinda reassured me that jbl still takes alot of pride in their product. I'm not a unboxing video person but I kinda wish I did for how well they packaged it.

I wasn't going to get this speaker because I have the JBL Extreme 3. Well I am glad I did because it will wireless connect with my Extreme 3 and the sound great together. And it was on sale for $249 so I knew I wouldn't go wrong with the purchase. But I do have a little problem with buying speakers. I am very partial to the bows and JBL speakers so I kind of have a pretty good collection and when they come out with a new one I always enjoy adding to the collection. LOL

Five stars for the JBL Xtreme 4 — this thing is an absolute beast! The sound is powerful with deep bass, but still has a perfect balance that makes everything from music to podcasts sound amazing.I love using it by the pool — the waterproof design gives total peace of mind, and the 24-hour battery life means I don’t have to worry about charging it all the time. PartyBoost is a cool feature too if you want to pair up with other speakers. I seriously enjoy every second of it.

I love this speaker. This little speaker packs a clear, detailed punch. The battery is replaceable, and I love that it is both water and dust proof. The battery life is extrodinary. I do a lot of woodworking, so I acumulate a lot of dust in my work place, so it works great in my wood shop. Where this speaker really shines is outdoors. Outdoors it really opens up the sound quality, enough your neighbors might complain. The bass is booming, but the sound quality and vocals are exceptionally clear. It is definitely worth the price of admission!

Another great JBL product to add to my collection! Got for our outdoor hot tub and other situations where I wanted good quality sound. This checked all the boxes. Long battery life, JBL app allows you to control things including 4 preset EQ levels and a 5 band manual EQ!Sounds amazing and is actually very easy to carry or tote around. Battery life is insane!Smaller than an old school "Boombox" but twice as loud with the highs, mids and lows all clean and solid!I would highly recommend this for.anyone who wants portable, loud, clean, weatherproof sound!

The Dynamics and frequency response are not much different than the new Charge 6. To me $50 less for a lighter, more portable amazing sounding speaker is a better deal. I played both side by side and can’t justify the weight and heft of the Xtreme 4. Sounds great don’t get me wrong but no better or worse than the 6. Returned the Xtreme.

Awesome speaker. It was larger than I expected and loud! I love the carry strap. We use it for walks up songs for softball games and is exactly what we needed. I’ve even dropped it a few times with no issues. It has been drizzled on and rolled through the dirt. Durable, quality product.
