The one that is normally at the big box home stores is longer before the Dishwasher drain is attached. The long unit messed up my plumbing alignment. This stubby unit solved that problem. I easily made a short Female/Female adapter for the bottom, which allows attachment to the existing plumbing. Wish there was a same unit with both ends female.

Perfect size it doesn’t seal around the treads with other fittings.

Worked perfectly fine for installing my dishwasher.

Dropped a star because it only comes with one gasket but otherwise a nice solution. It fit perfectly on a new sink install. I had the problem of hooking up a dishwasher and an overflow tube. Most sunk pipe kits only come with one outlet. This screwed right into a standard sink pipe and worked great. The only complaint is it doesn't come with an O-ring to seal it up. I used plumbers' putty, and it's holding for now.
