Q: How do you clean these filters

You use a scotch brite to refresh the filter. Simply let the filter dry COMPLETELY, the use the scotch brite to rub the outside. You don't need a lot of elbow grease. You will notice "dust" coming off it when you rub it. I use my vacuum hose beside where I am cleaning it. Rinse the filter with clean water and it's ready for another use. I have had mine for many months and my well water is terrible. I use one of these as a first filter, and then run it through another clean filter. Hope this helps.

Q: Does this filter fluoride?

no as it is not a carbon filter, this just filters out the nasties not the flavor in the water

Q: What is the cloth for that came with these?
