This makes a statement without taking up too much space. It creates a nice calming background noise and the design is pleasant to look at (meaning its believable and not cheap looking). It didn't come with nearly enough stones so plan on getting those separately to cover the base. We run it constantly and have to add water to it every other day or so. We don't fill it all the way up because it doesn't make as much of the sound we like when it's full. I recommend only using distilled water if you live in a hard water area. The nightlight is really bright so we used the solid stones it came with to cover the led lights a bit then used clear gem stones for the rest. This definitely adds to the spa feel of my room.
