This is a perfect gift for someone who likes making coffee that is better than something you would have in the office. It is literally everything you need to know to get started with brewing coffee. My friend really enjoys this book. The drawings are very clear and very informative.

I basically wanted a coffee recipe book as I am working on a project for my Facebook album and found this a treasure to pick up. Most of the preparation methods I have already used, yet it is nice to still see what is out there, as well the number of various recipes and in my opinion, takes you a lot higher than a Starbucks. I also find the information on coffee and the locations it comes from very interesting and that too makes this book a great reference. Well organized and laid out with plenty of illustrations. I consider this book to be a bargain.

Uber comprehensive! I purchased as a gift for my boyfriend, who is not only a coffee aficionado, but a new coffee shop manager. I love that it has a huge selection of recipes as well as a guide to origins of aaaallll of the coffee around the world. It looks great, and it’s fun to flip through, referencing or reading for pleasure.

Really good book. I like the history and techniques shown in the book. Also the vast amount of recipes. I'm sure you could google them all but it's nice to have a physical book to look at. The pictures are great too.

Aside from the book being very informative, I received this book in like new condition from the bookseller. The price was extremely reasonable and shipping was prompt ! Bravo ! (I recently received a fairly expensive kitchen appliance with a big new recipe book. That book was damaged.) Whomever shipped this used coffee book should be commended.

I have read quite a few coffee books over the last decade and it's refreshing to come across a coffee book that represents where the specialty coffee industry is today. The information is very accurate, well organized, progressive, and easy to read. It acts as both a casual read for those interested in coffee and a valuable training resource for professionals within the specialty coffee industry. If your staff needs an enthusiastic boost of coffee geek information, put this book behind the counter for them to read.

This book has a little bit of everything about coffee. A little history. A little on the tools and methods for roasting and brewing. A little about coffee producing countries. A lot of recipies. I liked reading the informational and instructional parts and skimming the reference sections, but ended feeling hungry for more information on all of these. As an "intro to" book, it more than satisfies it purpose.

fantastic book pitched at just the right level. gives you basic starter recipes for most brewing methods, lots of handy information on all the basics like where beans come from, processing methods, roasting methods, the importance of cleaning your stuff. really nice selection of recipes for drinks, some of them a little SB's but also some really nice little subtle gems.

Has tons of recipe of coffee. The book was is good condition.
