Works well. Use adjustment screw to get the desired minimal brightness.
If you can fit a mains plug, this is probably just as easy. Instructions could be better, but the diagram is easy enough to understand and Live and Neutral terminals for input and output are both marked on the circuit board. Once plugged in and working you may find the minimal brightness is not 0. It's not explained in the short info supplied, but use the small adjustment screw (cross head - visible on one side of the case when closed) to adjust the desired minimal brightness when you have the main controller set to minimum.

It only dims at the last 20%
The dimmer works fine, but only at the last 20% of turning the knob. So first nothing happens and the last bit suddenly dims it…

Good - but make sure you use > 3W bulbs!
Works well, though I got caught out by the minimum wattage required. I first used a 3W dimmable LED, and while it worked, after around half way through the dial travel, the light started flickering. Using a 6W bulb instead made it work perfectly. The adjuster for minimum brightness is very handy and works well.
