Bovril Beef high in protein Paste versatile beef spread 250 g

This medium sized jar is a good size for keen but infrequent use. The flavour is strong, and a little goes a long way. I personally don't enjoy drinking anything but tea (and an occasional swig of milk), so haven't tried the simple drink people prepare using this, but judging by the smell and taste of the undiluted product, the drink would probably be quite tasty. However, as a potent flavour boost in stews, or quickly slapped on a Ryvita (Dark) crispbread for a light snack, this hits the spot! Although it stands on its own, to me, Bovril is beef flavour Marmite. I consider this to be a good thing :-) The beefyness is strong; it's like highly concentrated gravy! Not for the feint of heart.

This non-grandulated version has no MSG which is crucial and a nice thing. This tastes great and with some added himalayan pink salt, is an epic tool to help people start into keto diets (low carb, high fat) without the massive headaches that lack of salt during the conversion process can take. A very nice and great tasting drink, even with added salt.

For all lovers of Bovril this is great value. I'm a lover of it and enjoy a hot cup of it. I recommend Bovril.

ok as described

I love bovril drinks. So few calories, so warming and good. I suppose you could use this in cooking but I’ve never tried it because I just like sipping cups of warm bovril in the winter. Also great for hangovers - must be something with the salt content!

Like marmite but a bit less salty and more runny. Good for sauces

This for me is the best drink in the winter months when you come home from walking the dogs and its freezing cold, nothing better than a hot steaming mug of Bovril to warm you up. I add it to stews to, gives them an extra nice flavour.

Spreads on toast. Add a teaspoon to a hot mug of water. Yummy. I prefer this to the other one to love or hate.
