First, let me start by saying I suffer from chronic anxiety and probably like most, have tried many products that didn't quite deliver on the results it promised. So ordering this product i was hopeful, but skeptical. With that in mind, when the product arrived, not really sure what to expect, I tried it and put it aside. I just didn't feel like it took the "edge off" that is associated with anxiety. The bottle sat there a few weeks collecting dust and I looked at it again, pulled it out and decided to give it another try. I'm sure glad I did. This time I would wake up every morning and take it with a full glass of water before I got out of bed. Within a week, I could tell a difference in my anxiety level. The change was very suttle, but I definitely knew it was working. My husband and children noticed the change as well. Situations where they would expect a certain reaction from me, was so much different, they could not put their finger on it, but they knew something was different. My ability to handle stress and cope with situations was so much better and much less stressful. I am so thankful that I found securus! I have to admit I was very skeptical when I ordered this product. Within a few hours of taking the first dosage my anxiety began to dissipate. I have suffered most of my life with an anxiety disorder, I have taken numerous prescribed medications that never worked for me. I really like this stuff.A little background: Since age 18 I've struggled with major depression and various anxious behaviors. In the past I've been prescribed Paxil, Prozac, and Bupropion with some success and some frustration. They were helpful but pricey, and have recently caused me to experience vertigo.As a result, I've decided to see how I fare without big pharma's antidepressants: I'm addressing my mental health conditions with all-natural alternatives. I also do simple cardiovascular exercise and have replaced coffee with organic teas (ginger, green tea, etc). I'm 23 years old.I've used Kava recreationally for about a year and have become familiar with it's benefits at relieving anxiety. But a glass of brewed Kava always leaves me feeling antsy, and the relief dissipates quickly. Plus, it's a lot of work to brew Kava (trust me on this one).With Securus, the kava content is perfect for daily anxiety. I find that if I take two in the morning, I'm good for the day. Thus far I've taken it with fish oil (which I'd highly recommend) and St. John's Wort (too early to say whether it's affecting me). I feel like myself, and would say that I experience a much more 'normal' level of anxiety. I'm not nearly as antsy as usual, and if you catch me in the morning I'm very relaxed and peaceful. That said, I'm still a noticeably anxious person, but there are very noticeable changes in my affect and mannerisms. In the event of a panic attack, I take two Securus and sit it out. This has been a godsend in those situations - I've never consumed Xanax but I imagine this is useful in the same ways.So Securus is a great alternative to Wellbutrin/Bupropion. There has never been a miracle pill for depression, but these are an excellent choice for those affected by it. And Securus is affordable, which is fantastic.In any case, keep in mind: withdrawals from depression meds can cause you extreme vertigo and mood swings. This includes uncharacteristic bouts of anger. If you're inclined to stop taking SSRIs, do so very slowly, and be sure to take fish oil and consume some ginger. I am, of course, not a medical professional - just sharing some important conventional wisdom. Consult a doctor, and also look within yourself to find a path that works for you. Perseverance is key.
