Q: can I buy the glass bowl as mine has craked

Yes you can but there is not much difference in price between just a new bowl and an entire new product .At the end of the day you will still have an old cooker with a new bowl .If the Halogen bulb then blows and needs replacement the total combined cost will be more than an entirely new unit I think if you did a quick search via Amazon you will find suppliers like Andrew James Just be careful in buying on price alone as sometimes cheaper bowls will crack with the heat of the element .Ole saying 'You get what you pay for' applies

I dont know the only thing you can do is take the old one out and see if the replacement bulb is the same as the old one you have got or you can put in your model number of the halogen oven you got and see if you can get a bulb that way

Q: i am replacing bulb in halagan oven have two wires protruding from halagan male fitting to plug into bulb white plastic what do i need? Thank you

Switch off from mains. As your halogen bulb has no 'connector' to fit on to the halogen lamp plug that is part of the existing wiring harness, you need to cut the plug off the harness, simply fit a 2 terminal 'chocolate box' connector to those wires that are now exposed and then fit the halogen bulb wires to the other side of the terminal block. Ensure the wiring is tucked neatly inside and ensure the small wiring retaing/heat shield plate is fitted correctly and job is done. Plug in and switch on!

Q: how long is a bulb expected to last before it is replaced

It depends on how often you use your halogen. I use mine on special occasions therefore I expect to replace the halogen bulb in about 5-10 years. Think of the old household light bulbs. How long did they used to last? Your Halogen bulb will last much longer.
