Very nice cocoa butter!
This is the best cocoa butter! It’s smooth, melts easily, and smells heavenly. It comes in nickel size pieces which is perfect for melting. Highly recommend!

Amazing!
I never leave reviews, but I have never bought anything this good before! Maybe I don’t have much to compare it too bc ive never purchased real cocoa butter. I’ve always used a popular brand of store bought cocoa butter, of which I have always liked bc of the smell and it’s a good for my dry skin. About 5 years ago though I developed a contact allergy to a commonly used perservative used in many products, and it was in my store bought cocoa butter. It’s no longer in the store bought cocoa butter, which is good! But the allergy (not cause by that brand, just the ingredient, just wanted to clarify that, bc it’s in many products) has left my skin super sensitive. Along with it being more sensitive, I have always had dry skin, and on and off psoriasis flare ups.Although I just got the raw cocoa butter, I can tell I really like it! First off opening the bag…the smell is so unbelievably good. It blows anything else, that is cocoa butter scent, out of the park! It’s in chunks, which is good. I have one small chunk that I am using as likes chap stick. Love it. Then another for skin. It take a bit more patience for rubbing it on my skin, bc it’s not like a bottle lotion that you can just squeeze a bit out and rub it in. I just kinda rub the chunk until I can tell it’s on my skin. It does not leave a greasy, oily feel on you. It seems to be good moisturizing for my skin, I have only used it just a few times so far. I’d like to eventually try to use it to make myself some body butter and lip balm. So if anyone reading this can give me advice on that, I’d be grateful! But until then I’ll just keep using it by chunks! I will most definitely reorder!

Love this for my body butter - it smells like chocolate - use it for my homemade body butter
I bought this cocoa butter (and Shea butter and a lot of other non solid oils) to make body butter. To successfully make body butter you need a ratio of one solid to one liquid (solid being cocoa butter or some other hard oil). You melt the cocoa butter in the microwave (I melted cocoa butter then melted this Shea butter into it) then mix your other oils and any scents you want (I love the smell of coffee so I use pura d’or coffee oil - smells amazing with the cocoa butter) and mix in a mixer for about 10 mins. Refrigerate for about 15 take out and do another 10 mins. Keep repeating until the mixture starts to solidify and get a gravy like consistency. I used about 1 1/2 cups of the mixture and stored the rest (when you whip it its best to leave lots of room in the mixer as it gets about 3 times the amount with whipping). To finish just whip with a wire whip 20 - 30 mins then refrigerate for about 15 minutes and repeat 4 or 5 times until desired consistency. I store my finished result in an empty coconut oil container.

SPOILS FAST!
I first bought this cocoa butter over a year ago and it was absolutely amazing. The expiration date was stamped on the package for September of 2024. Still 100% fresh.Seeing that I was about to run out, I ordered it again in October of 2023 but the older cocoa butter lasted six months past when I thought I would run out. I ran out yesterday so I could finally open the newer cocoa butter package and begin using it. Only having it unopened and sealed for seven months, it was discolored and powdery in some parts. That amazing natural aroma of cocoa butter was absent. It smelled of spoilage. I thought I would melt it over a gentle heat to see if it would solve the problem. The fat only separated from the liquids and it looked curdled and spoiled inside the container. The touch of it felt like overcooked sugar that had been crystallized. What a terrible texture, rendered useless. It’s too late to send the package back for an exchange. The manufacturer is nowhere to be found even if an exchange was possible. Good luck with the freshness.
