My children 5 and 3 love this and spend at least a half hour to an hour with it multiple times a week. The clay does not dry out, though we do take care to put the clay back into ziploc bags. As another reviewer said, the clay sticks in the crevices, but we just ignore it because it gets covered up anyway. And that clay never dries out. They’ve been playing with this since March and aside from them having mixed most of the colors together, the clay is still usable and the dinosaur fossils are still great. Attached is a pic to show what it looks like with near weekly play for the last 8 months. Not bad at all. We are buying the mythical creatures one next. The clay has a lot of resistance, so it is great for pushing and molding which builds finger and hand strength- better than playdough. The girls have been watching tan dulce cakes on YouTube, so I brought out a doll with plastic hair and they mold the clay and cut into shapes to dress her. I wish they would come up with more animal shapes to mold, especially because they serve as a guide to create.

I gave this as a gift for a 4th birthday and the child loved the skeletons. They were not as interested in the clay but did attach the googly eyes to two of the dino's. Overall a well received present and highly recommend for kids who love dino's and skeletons.

Don’t trust when it says “doesn’t dry out.” I didn’t trust that, and so we tested a small piece and kept it out overnight it was hard as a rock.

Bought for craft activity for three year old grandsons who are in the dinosaur phase. The clay was easy to mold and they played with for hours afterwards. The next day they undressed the dinosaurs and remolded with different color schemes. Recommend as a fun craft and educational activity. My grandsons now know dinosaur facts and names.

This is the 3rd set I’ve bought for a birthday gift for my child’s friends. It’s a fun unique craft and toy. The perfect gift!

This was a hit with my son and his friend. they were captivated by this activity and saved their dinosaur sculptures to play with afterwards. Other than helping out with rolling out the clay, they were able to continue independently. It was fun to observe their strategies for getting the clay onto the dinosaur skeletal frames. One trade-off is that the clay doesn't dry, so it's a bit challenging storing these afterwards. they currently stand on a piece of cardboard when not in use. BUT i guess it would be possible to purchase more sculpting clay and re-use the skeletal frames. The clay did stain the white table a bit but i was able to remove easily following the activity.

Overall it’s a great ideal and good project for my kiddo. He loves dinosaurs and playing with clay so I thought this would be perfect for him, and he does love playing with it. However, he was looking forward to the t-Rex & stegosaurus the most and the box only came with a t-Rex and TWO triceratops. The box says it comes with one of each...so he was a bit disappointed he didn’t get the stegosaurus!

This product is really cool and well made! I got it for my 4-yr-old child but I even enjoy playing with it. I think this would make a great gift because it's unique enough you don't have to wonder if a kid already has it (in most cases, I imagine).

This was a gift for our 6-year-old granddaughter. She was excited at the mythical creatures' skeletons and had a fine time using the clay to create her creatures. She spent 2 hours working on it - it really kept her interest.

I bought this for christmas for my nephew who is really into dinosaurs. It was a huge hit! He played with the skeletons before turning them into clay. Depending on how old your kid is you may need some supervision. It can get kinda messy.

This clay is a bit advanced for my 3yr even with supervision. She loves to use the skeletons with other clay easier for her little hands! Nice kit and in some time will definitely be used more often

Perfect gift for my dinosaur-obsessed 5-year old nephew. His results looked surprisingly good for being only 5, and he loved mixing all the colours to come up with a dinosaur model from his imagination. Ideal for creative kids, dinosaur kids, and curious kids.
