I will only carry gum that comes in the individual chiclet type dispenser. The gum that is wrapped in paper or comes in sticks seems to deteriorate over time. Also, the single sticks are too big for me. I tear them in half and then end up losing her leaving the other half in a pocket which causes a disaster the next time I wash the shirt in hot water. These are small chiclet switch of the perfect size. In the rare event that I leave a package in a pocket, the gum is protected from the attacking wash water and prevents any destruction of the garment. For some reason, individually packaged chiclet type gum is hard to find. The sticks appear to be more common. I'm very happy with this product. The price is great
