These cocoa nibs are raw. They are partially fermented and sun dried (all below 118 degrees). These are never gas dried.

HI Jaret, to make home made chocolate, you should use Cacao Powder. From Cocoa Powder you will get a chocolaty sauce and that is perfectfor making home made Chocolate. Now, you can always add cacao Nibs to your chocolate to add that extra crunch and health too them...OR if you are making dark chocolate brownies, then you can add that too.
