These curlers are perfectly adequate and work well if you use them as intended. Not too much hair on each curler and hair not too long. This would be the case with any curler. It doesn't take long for the hair to air dry or they are open textured enough to also use a hair dryer. They will stay in the hair alone or can be secured with clips or pins. I have several different sizes and am well pleased with them all.

I bought these for my sister-in-law, she is older than me and is losing her eyesight due to MACULAR DEGENARATION. She ask me to find her some type of hair roll that she could sleep in without the pain of brush rollers. My favorite place to shop, AMAZON.com had these and I knew from personal experience that they are soft and stay in at night. So as they say "you can take the girl (or woman) out of the 1960's but sometimes the older ways are still the best way to go". She loves them and has curled her own hair every night since she got them!

Usuing these curlers is a pleasure. They grip easily and securely. Only wish for the price, this order includeded a few more.

Easy to use and easy to remove from hair, gives good lift and shaping for medium length hair. Better then hot styling tools, these will not ruin your hair.

Have used this type of curler for years. They seem to be made differently now. Not as confortable as the used to be.

These gripping rollers work beautifully, and i recommend them. Hair does not get tangled in them. I use them on dry hair for awhile in the morning to give some lift and life, and my hair requires only a little combing and nothing else.
