So far so good!
Good product for the money. It works well and I’ve hatched chicks already from it. Upon entering lockdownn I removed the turner and put down drawer liners for the chicks safety when hatching so their feet don’t get caught in the holder. It does stop turning upon entering lock down which I believe is automatically set for 3 days prior to the days of incubation you set. (Chickens 21, geese 29 or 30) The instructions are easy to follow for setting incubation days and adjusting temp setpoint. One thing to note is that upon turning it on the incubation day starts at Day 1 instead of 0 so take that into consideration when you stare to freak out because none of your eggs have stared pipping on the expected day. I learned this with the first batch of chicken eggs I set. The incubator said day 21 and I noticed nothing was pipping as expected, then I realized they were only in there for 20 full days at that time since it started as Day 1. I placed several independent thermometers/hygrometers inside and it is surprisingly consistent in temperature humidity throughout the incubator. We had a cold spell and our house temp was kept at 67F so I did keep the incubator in the styrofoam packaging it comes with as directed to help maintain the temp. It does take monitoring of the humidity and adjusting the air vent as necessary to increase or decrease it as the bottles of water simply keep the compartments under the eggs full of water. Use one bottle in the first slot for the initial incubation period (humidity stays around 45-55%) and then add the second bottle during lockdown to raise the humidity up to 65-75%. It will sound an alarm anytime the humidity drops below 40%. You can silence the alarm by pushing any of the control buttons, but it will sound again after a certain amount of time if the humidity isn’t corrected. It comes with an egg holder for larger eggs as well. It fits goose eggs perfectly and has no issue turning them. I removed the egg holder/turner because I hand turn my eggs. It will hold 8 goose eggs with the turner or 9 goose eggs comfortably if you remove the egg turner. I will probably be purchasing another of these incubators in the near future to set another batch of eggs while the current ones finish incubating.

Would not recommend
I researched as much as I could and followed the directions that came with the incubator. I had 8 chickens out of 12 that developed but were not able to hatch due to the humidity levels not reaching high enough. The students through the school kept asking when the chicks were going to hatch. It was easy to use but I would not use this product.

One Time Use
It worked great the first time. Now I went to do another and it will not adjust the humidity anymore.

It’s good so far
The egg turner works well. We started with 10 eggs and one wasn’t fertilized, so we had 9 make it to day 21. So far, 5 of the 9 have hatched. I don’t like that it’s so hard to control the humidity. It was nearly impossible to keep the humidity straight. It’s very large and holds alot of eggs. It feels durable. It is loud though. We are running it in our bedroom, and it seems to get really loud at random times. The instructions were easy to follow.

Best incubator Ive tried
Eggcellent hatch rate.

Terrible hatch rate
Was thinking this was going to be a good incubator but I was wrong and should have looked for a more reliable brand. When I first tested the egg turner I noticed it turns the eggs way too fast but had shipped eggs that needed to be incubated so I started them without turner and did turning manually three times a day. Looked to be good eggs kept everything as it should be but none hatched. We were down to 10 after candling on day 14. I’m disappointed that I can’t return. I think the temp was also off a bit.

This is great for beginners!
Used this twice now. For the price it’s amazing! Out of 12 silkie eggs I incubated one wasn’t fertile and I only had one quitter. I hatched 10 beautiful silkie chicks for the first time reading instructions and all I could about the breed I have. Very easy to set up and follow instructions. The only issue would be the humidity stability could use improvement other wise it’s durable and the temperature is great! A strong brooder for chicks to hatch and even run around. Out of all ten that hatched only one with a splayed leg so it’s stabile, temperature stayed stable, just watch the humidity.

UPDATE
I'm 3 days into incubation and seems to be able to keep a pretty much constant temp. I did have to lower the temp from the factory 100 to 99 to get a 99.3-99-6 temp range. With it set at 100 I was getting around 100.3 ish and I didn't want it that high. The humidity reading is about 6% lower than my accurate humidity/temp sensor but I just increase the humidity to counteract that. The only negative so far is I found I have to "burp" the water bottle. It doesn't feed the tray automatically because I think it gets air-locked so I have to raise it up a little out of the tray to let it fill the tray. I'm thinking about putting a small hole in the top of the bottle. I can always cover it up if that doesn't work but I think that'll take care of the problem. UPDATE: the temp swings for no reason. (and humidity). I have this in a room in my house that is temp controlled and not in any drafts or near windows. The temp will be relatively stable for an hr or two then suddenly change over a degree. the most recent one was the temp had been steady at 99.6 and then went to 98.4 for no reason and then stayed at 98.4 for almost an hr. (I use an accurate electronic WiFi temp/humidity sensor inside that sends constant info to my iPad app). the most important thing in incubating is STEADY readings. You can have lower or higher set temps (to a point) and no harm is done but the temps have to be STEADY. it's the swings in readings that causes problems. It just may be my unit but I wouldn't purchase this again due to the swings in set temps.

Easy to setup and love that it easy to control temperature and humidity. Great for small setup or starter hatching. Also unlike others we have had the instructions and very easy to follow and comes with a handy egg guide.

This is perfect for what I want it for. Not hatched anything in it yet. Eggs will be going in this week. It was super easy to set up using the instructions and even came with a brilliant hatching guide, telling you everything you needed to know. I was especially delighted with the candling torch and spray bottle that was included. Looking forward to seeing the results!

Stooped working after 16 days, and I lost all but 3 eggs. Up until that point I was relatively impressed. The humidity is sooo high and that is an issue. Cheap. Save up and buy a proper one.

Works perfectly!

Well, it’s hatch day. So far 6/12 have hatched and we still have time left on the clock. I call that a success. The egg turner worked just fine. I was worried after reading reviews from this and other incubators that the turner would stop working or that it wouldn’t hold the right heat/humidity. I did not buy any additional humidity or temperature readers, I relied entirely on the system. I set it to 100, filled the bottles as instructed (bottle 1 only until day 18, then both) and we have chicks! My only concern is that there really isn’t much space for the chicks to move around but they’re only in there for up to 24 hours so It’s not a huge issue. I’m impressed for the price. I assume you can update reviews, and so long as I can, I’ll update when/if it ever breaks on me (or if more chicks hatch) but for now, the first hatch is a success!
