Best insulation material for windows and drafts!
Works great for keeping the wind and cold drafts out of my camper. I noticed a difference as soon as I installed it! I'm sure it will be cooler in the summer as well since it insulates so well. I have tried several different ways to insulates my camper, and this foil has worked the best. It doesn't tear easily, but it's easy to cut and measure. I used velcro to adhere it and it worked out great!

It works like it's supposed to
I bought this to insulate a tote and it has worked absolutely wonderful I cut it down so that I could cover the sides and the bottom and the lid and it's worked perfectly I used a strip tape and I am very pleased with the heat retention I did not use the adhesive dots that came with it. So far it's been quite durable and I'm pleased

Keeps heat out, easy to cut. Wonderful investment for the cheap
I couldnt be anymore happy with this purchase. I have massive windows, so for me to buy blinds for them would cost an absolute fortune. I have old thin windows and live in Florida so the heat that comes thru the windows is insane, so I bought these. They have been a dream! They’re thin enough that light shines thru very slightly but the heat stays the heck out of my home. Its also very east to cut I bought these to serve 2 purposes. 1 for heat control and 2, I dont have and cant afford blinds. This keeps prying eyes and heat away. I will be purchasing several more sheets of this product to cover the rest if the windows.

Reflects the sun like Mel's W with no cooldown
Pros: Will reflect the sun and make your room cooler. Comes with lil sticky pads that's pretty ez to remove Cons: Since it's folded in the packaging there will be fold lines on your sheet which might ruin the aesthetic a wee bit

Thin but it works!
I tried to use it as a car windshield shade, and while it does well to shade the window, it is thin, so I can see the sunlight through it, and it kind of has a blue glow. It also doesn't stand up by itself like a normal sunshade would. I think if you were to double it up, it might work better? I'm thinking about sewing 2 layers together! I was able to cover my sunroof which was my most important window to cover and it was pretty easy to cut. I used the stickers that are included just to get it in place, and I was also thinking putting cardboard up behind it would also be good insulation.

I live in an old apartment building with poorly insulated, southeast facing windows. I got fed up with having to replace my air conditioners EVERY YEAR because so much heat was blasting through the windows, even with blackout curtains. I decided to give this reflective insulation a try. I decided to install the insulation on the outside of the windows, because it was too hard to get at the windows from inside with all the furniture in the way. You can install it inside if you prefer. I used metal furnace duct tape because it's heat resistant and reflective. I also bought a digital thermometer for my living room so I could see if the insulation made a difference. The insulation is lightweight, easy to handle, and easy to cut. I'm an old single lady and I was able to cut and attach the insulation on my windows in about an hour. The tape was harder to handle than the insulation. After installing the insulation I noticed the temperature in my living room went down by about 10 degrees C. Since then I've observed that my portable AC units aren't constantly running trying to cool the rooms anymore. Hopefully I can stop having to replace them every year from now on! If so, this insulation will definitely pay for itself. I haven't decided yet if I'll take it down in winter. My landlord hasn't complained about the insulation on my windows. Maybe he knows I'm saving him money on hydro. If you're a renter you might want to double check that your landlord will allow you to use this insulation.

This stuff is wicked! Put it on my bedroom window....gets all day sun. Blocks out heat, light. My A/C unit DOES NOT have to work as hard anymore...gets my room colder, with less effort and less water flowing out the back of the machine. Reccomend!
