Q: My Lithe bluetooth speaker wont pair with Amazon echo

Try setting it up closer to the speaker also need to read the speaker manual on how to put it into bluetooth discovery mode think its hold speaker button till light turns red or something like that. I've got an echo dot permanently connected just outside bathroom and is working fine.

Q: Can these speakers be zoned? (1 master in bedroom + 1 master in ensuite- can these be played together from same source as well as independently?)

You can zone them to a degree by utilising a Bluetooth transmitter that connects into your source device and pair to both or if you wish have independently - BuyCleverStuff

Yes, via the 3.5mm jacks on the side Geen and Pink. However, they will play at the same time.
