Great RC car!!
This is the first RC car I've gotten since I was a child. My brother originally got me into this hobby. He bought his from a local hobby store. His is all plastic and pretty quick. But after getting this one in the mail, and seeing it in person.... Its insane. Especially for an electric RC. Its made very very nice. Lots of aluminum parts on it. I will say though. With me being not used to the power and handling this thing has I ran it under my car and broke the body pegs off right from the start. Then two days later I flipped it into a tree and broke the top A arm. BUT. I still love this thing. I don't feel I wasted my money at all. The shocks are fully adjustable and strong. Mine has taken a beating and its still going strong. The batteries it comes with are great too. Once you get used to it you can upgrade those. Its very easy to work on. I would suggest investing in a tool kit for one though. It did not come with a charger, But I bought one on here for it just fine. One of the major cons that bothered me was, I had to solder my own plugs onto the car and batteries, Just because the charger I had bought did not have the correct adapters for it. The guys at the hobby store said that the plugs this car uses aren't as common as the others. After dealing with that bull crap for a few hours, everything else is fine.

all show and no go..
Dont buy this thing. If you are into rc, you already know this. If you are new to rc, you are impressed by the looks, the aluminum, and all of the apparent higher-end upgrades. But, here's the thing...Exceed rc makes high-end crap. Their products sound good on paper. They are the best crappy rc company on the market. These cars are underpowered with garbage electronics, have weak breaking-points that make no sense, and replacement parts are a toss up at best.As a hint, notice that the only video reviews you see here and on youtube are all done by....exceed rc. All by the same guy even. Also, notice how they are sold on amazon and one website only. Why wouldn't they be available on the major rc sites? Hmm...Do yourself a favor and buy something else. The Exceed Mad Warrior is a $200 truggy, NOT a $400 truggy. It will not last....it is a disposable toy. For the $400-500 price range (this truggy is currently priced at $419), buy any 4s 1/8 scale Arrma, buy the Losi LST 3xle at $499, heck I'd even buy the redcat shredder at it's current $329 price over the mad warrior (although, the redcat also has cheap breaking points and shouldn't be purchased by a beginner).Nothing personal against Exceed RC, and I am definitely no expert. I do own more than ten 1/8 scale or larger electric RC trucks, truggies, and buggies of all different makes (Arrma, Losi, Redcat, BSR, Force RC, Team Associated, and Tekno). I've been into RC for about three years now and I know what quality is. Quality is definitely not Exceed RC. I know what I see others driving at the track and at the local bash spot...and it ain't Exceed RC.Again, nothing personal against exceed. I just know what it's like to make a bad decision/purchase and would like to save you from that bummer.
