LOVE IT!
I love this Fitbit—especially for the price! I unintentionally tested its durability on vacation when I wore it in the ocean almost every day for six days. I only remembered to take it off the first day, then kept forgetting—but it’s still working perfectly! Now my husband wants one too!

Good replacement for the Inspire 2
I wore a Fitbit Inspire 2 for several years (and, before that, an earlier generation Fitbit). The strap connection on the Inspire 2 finally broke, and it began frequently falling off my wrist. I decided it was time to replace it with the Inspire 3. I didn't need the fancier ones. The Inspire 3 offers only a few more features than the Inspire 3. I like the displays, such as time, are larger and more readable.

Works as expected
I mainly bought this fitbit to monitor my nightly sleep quality, although the overall health monitoring is a plus. 4 sleep stages are monitored: Deep, Light, REM, and Awake. Since it's all monitored at the wrist, the accuracy is unknown; however, the desired 10-20% of deep sleep (of the total) appears to be attained. Also, patterns can be seen, such as decreasing deep sleep if caffeine has been ingested. For O2, it only measures average variance; I wish it would give absolute reading over time like an SPO2 monitor that can be shown on a time chart. Also, the data can be downloaded to local computer, but it is tedious to use for a charting app, and is separated into various folders. It appears that only the fitbit app can use the data easily. It also monitors steps automatically, and exercise (start/stop manually). Other things are monitored, like cardio load, daily exercise, active zone, burned energy, etc. Weight can be input automatically with another app sync. If food and water monitoring is desired, it must be manually input.

Great product!
Great to manage my daily step goal. I paired with the Fitbit app and it makes tracking my exercise program progress, weight loss, and calories in/out a breeze. I also appreciate the notifications for calls and text messages since I don't hear as well as I used to.

knows what to do without your having to tell it!
I have an Apple "smart" watch (which I call "my Apple Stupid Watch") which is useful for telling me when I have a phone call or a text message, but it won't record bike rides, hiking, outdoor walking etc. unless I respond to its annoying thwacks on my wrist to tell it to record. Same with sleep -- the Apple watch won't record my sleep unless I fall asleep inside the "sleep focus" time period, and even then it doesn't record it. --- I bought this Fitbit because I knew from the one I had in the past that it would record my sleep, bike rides, etc., automatically, without my having to tell it to. My only disappointment is that it no longer produces on my phone the nice graphics display it used to have for sleep modes. Instead the graphics are choppy, monotone, not fun to look at. But it tells me when I slept and how I slept, and that's what I want to know. Thanks, Fitbit, for being smarter than the smarty-pants watch.

Terrible Accuracy
I wanted to get a simple health tracker especially for steps. I have a samsung galaxy watch 6 classic but is too bulky sometimes to always wear to monitor my steps so wanted something light and accurate.Wow, this things accuracy is way off. I counted steps manually and this is sometimes off 20 to 30 steps. Sometimes it does not even record steps, e.g. I walked 100 steps yet no record of the 100 steps. I understand no tracker is 100% accurate but this is ridiculous. I tried the strength stride settings but that did not improve. My galaxy watch accuracy is way better. You can't turn off the device only restart. So if want to turn it off at night or when not using to save battery you can't. I like to enable AOD and have a bright screen so have to always recharge everyday. There is zero market research because most everyone wants a device they can turn off and have that option. The sleep tracker is useless, I had 6hrs sleep and this junk said I had 9. The app wants permissions to all your phones services like contacts, location etc. no wonder since it is google now, another way to invade your privacy and if you want to disable those permissions it will not allow you to install app (yes, you can still use tracker without app). Probably the reason they removed option to turn off device is so google can track you non-stop.This is my first fitbit product and will be the last. Anything Google gets its hands on it destroys because they more concerned about getting your info than producing a quality product, remember how great nest was before google bought them? Returned and back to my Galaxy to record steps.
