Good remote
Thus far this remote hasn’t let me down. I bought it because our old one was non functional. The fan wouldn’t turn on but the light would I know it was time for a new remote. Thus far I can use all the functions on this old fan. Haven’t had it for long less than two months.

It works perfect
Worked instantly as soon as i put the batteries in. Inside the remote there is a code you can adjust. If you don't have your previous remote it may be tough to adjust the code to the same code as before (to match up to your fan) but most people just leave the little code buttons clicked up and don't change them (like mine was) so it worked immediately. I actually have 2 fans in my house, 1 in the front and 1 in the back and I can use this remote for both fans. Lights and fan. The remote doesn't turn both on you do have to be closer to the fan you are using to use the remote. However the reverse button doesn't do anything since I have a switch on the actual fan to change the direction of the blade and this remote doesn't "switch" the switch. My fan is much older maybe the newer fans would benefit from this feature! I would highly recommend this product. Also it is white. The old remotes turn yellow so its nice to replace them. It does come with a mounting bracket for the wall if you should want to put the remote on the wall. It does not come with a battery. You need one of the rectangle batteries.

It's simple, and it works.
I wish I had replaced my old one sooner! For several years I had been struggling to press buttons just right so they would function. No more troubles now. I may have been lucky in one respect. My existing device did not have a code entered via the four tiny switches. I imagine there may be some instances where a tiny screwdriver and a steady hand might be needed.

Easy to use.
This worked perfectly with my existing Hampton bay fans. It worked on the fans in every room. I just had to set the pins to each specific receiver. I already ordered two more remotes.
