I'm writing this review because of the excellent response I received from Azuto when I reached out for assistance. I had difficulty on the first step of installation and was concerned that the product just might not be compatible with my vehicle model. With hardly any instructions online for reference and a website mostly in Japanese, I thought that I'd have to return the product and then have to look for another, inferior alternative like a simple rain gutter. But I reached out for help on their website, received several responses back, multiple videos, and it even led Azuto to put up the installation video now currently on this Amazon page. They're a quality seller if nothing else. As far as the product is concerned, installation was easy enough once I got past that initial hurdle. And although a little pricey, I'm satisfied so far with the quality. It's definitely a worthwhile improvement for my vehicle.

As someone who frequently goes overlanding, this deflector is a game-changer, especially in rainy weather. It allows me to pack up without the back getting soaked and lets me air out the interior even when it's drizzling, keeping the inside of my Jeep comfortable and dry. The quality of this product really stands out. It's robust, well-made, and feels like it's built to last, which is exactly what you need for the tough conditions on the trails. The installation process was straightforward; however, I found it helpful to have an extra pair of hands to ensure it was aligned perfectly and secured properly. This minor effort was well worth the outcome.

I hemmed and hawed about this for a while. Having experienced the water dripping down the rear window while out camping, the need was certainly there. But it seemed pretty expensive for a piece of fabric - Cordura or no - and some double sided tape. One day I decided to not be cheap and said what the heck. It went on smoothly and easily, it seems like adhesion is good and it'll do the trick. One item of interest however: it creates enough bulk up by the hinge that when the rear window closes it's not quite as snug against weather stripping, but the fabric deforms enough to handle the gap. It also sounds a little squishy when the fabric unfolds itself as you open the rear glass, but you get used to it. Overall if you own a Jeep and are around the back with the glass up in wet conditions this is of value. But it does seem expensive for what you're getting.

I recently installed the AZUTO Rear Window Trench Hood on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL. So far I’m impressed with the quality of the product. The Instructions were clear and the installation was simple. I’d suggest for best tape adhesion do it on a warm day. I haven’t had an opportunity to try it yet, but I’m sure it’s going to work out well, and if it doesn’t, I’ll update my review.

I've owned Jeeps for 25 years -- a TJ, an LJ, and now a JL. And I've dealt with the annoyance of water dripping into the tailgate the entire time. It's even worse on the TJs, because the wiper cover catches water and holds it until you close the glass. Earlier this year I tried to use long weather stripping, but it didn't do much. This product solves the problem completely. I dumped 32 ounces of water onto the raised liftgate glass all at once, and it funneled down the rain gutters as it should have from the factory. When I dumped the whole jar of water, a little splashed into the bottom right corner of the tailgate, where the hinges are. But I doubt I'll ever open the liftgate in that kind of downpour. With even an above-normal amount of rainwater, this works perfectly. The product appears to ship directly from Cn. But the company seems legit. It makes a bunch of little useful products that solve small problems or annoyances (or even little additions that add style--even if it isn't my kinda style). I'm ordering a second one for my LJ. The price is a bit steep -- I don't know if it's worth eighty bucks for a piece of Cordura and some double-sided tape. But I've had this problem long enough that I'll fork it over for a real solution. The JL wasn't a budget purchase either.

Eliminates the goofy dripping or dumping of rain water when you open up the back window. Makes the design of the Jeep, make a little more sense. Simple install, I’ll never even think about it again. It just works.

Straight forward installation instructions, Good Quality product and a must have for wrangler 4xe. Pricey though.

This is the best and easiest solution ever! I bought this for my mom because she absolutely loves her jeep, but getting wet while putting her groceries in the back, drove her crazy. I installed this in less than 10 minutes and my mom was so happy she started to cry. Thank-you for this awesome and easy solution and, making me the best daughter ever!
