The lock pin fits the trailer hitch nicely with 4 O-rings to allow you to get a snug fit t the lock. The itself opens and closes easily but make sure you close it properly, the central lock mechanism is spring loaded. The dust cap keeps dirt out of the lock. I like it. It adds security to my boat trailer.
