Beem Cucinetta Infrared Oven, 1300 Watt

First impressions, this item looks very stylish and should aesthetically compliment most kitchens. Everything on the outside of the box it came in was in German, but I was pleased to see the item was fitted with a UK 3 pin plug. The oven has four cook settings as well as the convector heat setting. The instructions thankfully have a section in English but the functions on the oven itself are written in German. The oven comes with plenty of accessories, everything you need to Roast, Toast, defrost and cook Pizza (a pizza stone included). You need to firmly press the buttons on the front to make them work. I thought the cooker was broken until I realised this. In operation it cooks flawlessly, setting the exact time, setting and temperature it cooks perfectly. Cannot fault that. However the cooling fan sometimes stays on for an inordinate amount of time. Should it still be on two hours after cooking a pizza for 12 minutes? Maybe mine is faulty.

This tiny cooker comes in a very garish box, which makes it look just a little bit dodgy. Having said this, it is well-packed, with all its accessories neatly packed inside. It comes with a pizza stone, roasting tray, drip tray, chip basket, shelf, rotisserie stuff and grill handle. It cooks with infrared, which it does quite well, although I didn't think that it was much quicker than using a conventional oven, certainly not as fast as my fan oven. I found it very easy to use, and didn't really need to use the interaction booklet. There are several different settings on this oven including toast, convection, defrost, roast and rotisserie. All are in German, but it's not too much of a problem to check which is which in the instruction booklet. You can then set the timer, and choose your temperature, if necessary. I wanted this oven mainly to use for baking, and in particular for bread. Unfortunately, this isn't really possible as the oven cavity is too small. It would be useful for things that do not rise very much, although it would have to be done in very small quantities as it is not very wide either. I can just about fit a six hole muffin tin in there. I just cannot see how they manage to spit roast a chicken in there, and I don't have one at the moment to test it with either... The exterior of the oven gets extremely hot during use - much hotter than my convection microwave does. My main concern about this oven though, is that it seems to be very unstable. It has a pull-down door which is quite heavy in comparison to the rest of the oven. With the door open, it is just incredibly easy to tip this over. No matter how careful you are, it seems like a terrible accident waiting to happen. It would be all to easy to forget and rest the hot dish on the door.

Alle guten Dinge sind bei den Warehouse Deals anscheinend mittlerweile 2 weil der 1. als unbrauchbar, beschädigt, defekt etc. daher kommt... Hier mal eine Bitte an Amazon, kontrolliert die Retouren besser. Dann eine Bitte an die Kunden, die defekte/beschädigte Retouren zurücksenden... Schreibt bitte ganz groß auf den Zettel, der mit in das Paket kommt "defekt/beschädigt" mit kurzer Angabe zu dem Defekt oder der Beschädigung drauf. Der 2te von mir im Warehouse Deal kam dann im Ganzen bei mir an. :-) Und ich möchte ihn nicht mehr missen. Das Teil gebe ich nimmer wieder her. :-) Das Zubehör ist klasse, der Ofen leicht bedienbar, sogar mit Timerfunktion, schaltet sich nach angegebener Zeit automatisch aus. Vor allem bringt er tolles Zubehör mit. :-) Bisher darin gemacht habe ich: Pommes, Rosinenbrötchen, Schaschlikspieße... Wobei ich einen ähnlichen Ofen zuvor hatte, nur als Halogenofen mit Deckel, der nach oben auf ging. Die Schaschlikspieße wurden absolut genial. Doch einen kleinen Nachteil hat der Ofen, danach muss man ihn schrubben, was gar nicht so einfach ist. Die Infrarotstäbe sind mit so eine Art Gitter abgedeckt, da bleibt dann alles dran hängen. Ich habe mir dann mit einer feuchten Spülbürste beholfen, die zumindest das Gröbste weg bekam. Hier absolute Kaufempfehlung von mir.

Forno a cottura rapida. Grazie agli infrarossi il cibo si cuoce prima di un forno tradizionale. Ogni tanto la ventolina di raffreddamento tarda a spegnersi, basta un operazione manuale (staccare la spina) e tutto torna nella norma. Utilissimi gli accessori! Inoltre un 5 stelle va al venditore che mi ha sostituito il piatto per la pizza in ceramica arrivato rotto in meno di 24 ore. Consiglio l'acquisto!

Estoy encantada con este horno, y eso que aún no he podido probar todas sus posibilidades, funciones y accesorios: - El tamaño es perfecto como horno accesorio o para una/dos personas. Justo lo que buscaba, para ahorrar tiempo y energía. - El tiempo de cocinado es sustancialmente inferior, aunque a veces cuesta un poco cogerle el truco para que las cosas queden como se pretende. - Tiene cantidad de accesorios y detalles de gran utilidad que lo hacen muy versátil. - La calidad de los acabados es estupenda, conozco la marca pues tengo otros utensilios de la misma y tengo que decir lo mismo de todo. Los accesorios que trae son también siempre de gran calidad. Por ponerle alguna pega: - La parte de atrás (abombada para que entre la piedra de pizza ahorrando espacio) no tiene cubierta protectora (doble), por lo que si el cable u otra cosa roza, se puede derretir por el calor al recibirlo directamente del interior del horno. - Las instrucciones vienen en castellano, pero las funciones de la pantallita del horno no, por lo que hay que aprenderse las palabrejas, o al menos el orden para saber cuál es cuál. Pero al cabo de dos o tres veces ya te acuerdas ;-) En general, estoy muy contenta con la compra. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Poco a poco me voy declarando fiel a la marca Beem :-D Te ha resultado útil? ;-)
