Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume Eau De Parfum – Cetalox Perfume – Woody, Musky & Ambery Fragrance

I originally got a sample size in an Ipsy bag a year ago, and the smell was AMAZING, I always turned heads when I wore it, and people would ask me what perfume I wore. It's one of my favorites, and I finally decided to splurge on myself and get the full size bottle. Despite what other buyers have been saying about it being different, to me it smells the same on my skin, and I absolutely love it, it is worth every penny.

I love Not a Perfume, it's been all that I wear for years. I had been getting small bottles and using them sparingly, and decided to treat myself to a large bottle. This isn't usually a thing I do, and it was a serious chunk of money. I read the reviews and the majority were positive, a few mentioned lack of scent or alcohol smell. I ordered, and was so excited! There was a shipping glitch but I was finally notified that the package was in transit. It arrived yesterday. I opened the well packaged and cushioned outer box. The bottle was in a very nice box in good condition. Finally got to the big moment. I sprayed a bit on my wrist, and inhaled...got a nose full of harsh alcohol smell. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I sprayed a bit on a handkerchief, let it sit a bit and sniffed again. Still no sign of the scent I love. At this point I was fairly devastated. I checked my Amazon order info and decided to let the seller know what happened, since they were probably not aware of the defective perfume. I did ask if a refund was possible. Hit send, but didn't expect much. I checked my email just before I went to bed and there was a reply from the seller. They apologized for the problem and said that I would be refunded in a couple of days. This morning I got a message from Amazon confirming the refund. I am totally impressed with this. The fast response, and they are going to check their supply of perfume to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. I truly thought my money was gone, and for the seller to handle this so promptly and graciously really made up for how disappointed I was! My sincere gratitude to them for offering exceptional customer service.

My favorite perfume, I once got it as sample and it caught my attention because of the name. Perfumes usually make me sick to my stomach but this one did not. I love it!

I received this in a monthly box. I absolutely love the smell and get a ton of compliments. This is a keep in your purse size. I’ve purchased this at Sephora several times but now that I found this size on Amazon I will continue to purchase here.

I can’t believe that others say that they cannot smell this at all. They must have deadened their sense of smell by wearing strong perfumes or colognes, because I use fragrance oils and I can smell this on and off all day. The difference between Juliette Has A Gun and perfume is that perfumes are usually overpowering and have a certain fragrance that is really strong and piercing to the nose, and lingers when someone walks away, but this fragrance is more subtle, like a fragrance oil. It smells fresh and woody. I have worn Kuumba Made Persian Garden for years now (and get complimented every time I wear it) but I wanted a slight change, and this fragrance is very similar to that. It’s light and very appealing. When I’m around someone with cologne on, I can’t stand the smell and it lingers forever after they’ve left, but when someone wears fragrance oils, it’s a pleasant smell that makes you enjoy being around them.

I read the great reviews and some articles that raved about this scent, and was excited to try it. I read the box which basically implied that it was a subtle scent that would grow on you. I applied a teeny bit to my left wrist and worked at my desk for four hours. The scent was unpleasant, musky in a sickening stomach-turning way where if it were a date I would be turned off and not want him near me lest my clothes and hair start to smell like that. The scent was not overpowering at first, but it lingered and grew stronger, and I could smell it while walking down the hall. I re-entered my office and there it was again, that smell like a bad scented candle that is too musky, the kind you put back on the store shelf after sniffing. Yuck. I got home and played with the dog, made dinner, then took a shower. The smell was still on my wrist!!! I tried scrubbing more with the loofa and soap, used hand sanitizer then baking soda and a scrubber. As I lay here ready to go to bed, i just sniffed my wrist and the smell is still there. It won't go away. I didn't use a lot, literally just a dab. Yuck! Not a lady's scent, not a perfume is right. Read my other reviews and see that I don't normally post bad reviews. This is an exception that warrants it. Ick!

Love love love the scent! I think it wears off with time whereas juicy will last forever. Price is slightly premium but it does smell good while it last! - Britt

I absolutely love this fragrance. Juliette Has A Gun Eau de Parfum has become one of my favorite go to scents because it is long lasting, unique, and always draws compliments when I wear it. Intriguing fragrance. Beware, the super dose version is way way way too strong and the cetalox and ambroxan is very potent and not nice on me anyways. However, this perfume version is very subtle. Like it says it's not a perfume but more like a skin scent. Its supposed to be different for each person due to skin chemistry. On me it's smells woody with a soft spicy almost laundry scent. It reminds me a bit like a softer version of Dunhill edition London or Bvlgari pour homme. It's very subtle and pleasant and people have commented on how nice it is but you have be quite close. It's sillage is low but it stays on clothes and skin for a couple of hours. It's a non offensive scent that is clean. Out of all the Juliette has a gun fragrances this is one of the best. I recommend getting a 1ml sample version before committing to a big bottle.
