This is a wonderful pan with beautiful detail. I just used the Nordic Ware recipe “Blood Orange Loaf Cake” and am thrilled with the results. My local Whole Foods store is having a buying spree on blood oranges these days so I was happy to use this pan to complement the recipe. The loaf is still cooling so I can’t comment on the cake itself but I do love the pan’s design. The batter was fairly thin and readily filled all pan recesses which is a huge plus for the best cake impressions. The cake turned out without any sticking problems. I would definitely recommend this pan if you are considering it for any citrus biased recipe.

Nordic Ware's Citrus Blossom pan is absolutely amazing for those times you need a showstopper dessert, but are tight on time. Just pour your favorite batter into this incredibly-detailed pan, and let the pan do the work. Heavy, professional grade, easy to clean, good value for the price, and always provides dependable results. Highly recommended.

This is a very heavy duty pan. I've made lemon cake in this several times. I sprayed the pan with non-stick cooking spray and coated it with flour, and the cake has always come out pretty cleanly for me. I've always hand washed it and used the sprayer to clean any food out of the crevices, drying it off with a paper towel. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but I wouldn't wash this in a dishwasher because I wouldn't want any of the finish or seasoning to wear off. The lemon cake is seriously impressive to everyone who's seen it. This is the second Nordic Ware pan I've bought. The first one had a pumpkin decoration on the bottom; perfect for fall and winter pumpkin bread.

The cake bakes evenly in this beautiful pan. Make sure you follow the manufacturers instructions as to how to coat your pan, I use butter and lightly flour the pan and the cake will release easily. Cleaning it is easy to, I usually let it soak in warm water with a little bit of dish soap, then I use a brush, no problem. The design is awesome which is one of the things I love about Nordic Ware. I definitely recommend this pan
