Very Pretty in a Dark Corner
I bought 5 of these lanterns in 5 different colors, from several different sellers. Pictured in the photo from left to right are: red, green, purple, blue and fuchsia. This red lantern is not as ruby-red color as the photo shown; it's more of an orange-red but I like it anyhow. It arrived securely packed and undamaged. The hinged door was very easy to open. The loop at the top is ample for a chain if you so wish to hang it (I chose to set it down). There is plenty of room inside to light a candle; I used a tea light candle but this would easily hold a votive candle as well. The lantern glows nicely and reflects red hues on the wall behind it, which is just what I was looking for to fill/light up a darker corner in my living room. The loop at the top does stand upright on its own.Note - I have these lanterns atop of a wine cooler, which is not 100% level (they look somewhat crooked in the photo). I assure you that the lanterns do stand upright on a flat table. Here are links the rest of the lanterns:Elegant Purple Table/hanging Hexagon Moroccan Candle Lantern HoldersGreen Glass Moroccan Lantern (1 Lantern)Fuchsia Glass Moroccan Style LanternGifts & Decor Moroccan Lantern Blue Glass Candle Holder Candleholder

Great!!!
I ordered one red, blue and green Moroccan candle holder lamps. They are very nice, especially for around $7. Was packaged very nice and secure. I had zero broken pieces as i opened the box. Only turn off is the big "Made in China" stamped on the box, but at this point, everything seems to be made in China. I was worried they would be junk at that point but was very pleased with the quality of each lamp. For the price and for what they are, its not a big deal to me. These lamps were about as tall as a 20 oz bottle of coke. Perhaps 3 times the width. I read many reviews about how small these are. While they aren't huge, i found them to be a nice size and a little bigger than i expected from certain reviews. They are nice for a hanging lamp, a centerpiece for your table or even a decent decoration for your deck or outdoor areas. They add a different style than the normal boring candle holders most of us have. I ordered a few just to make sure i liked them and now that i know, i will be ordering several more for my decks and living room. Adds some mood lighting for if you have a "lady friend" over to watch a movie. It's not distracting when you light a candle in it. It's just right.

My lamp's little door was hard to relatch after opening it to place the tea light candle in it but honestly it's not like you ca
Quaint little lamp, it is a little cheaply made but what do I expect for the $16? My lamp's little door was hard to relatch after opening it to place the tea light candle in it but honestly it's not like you can tell it's not closed and it didn't affect the lamp's performance. I had this in my kitchen on a small shelf by a window and so it was a little bright with natural light but it did cast some soft jewel tones around it. Not sun catcher prism-bright mind you, but it was subtle colors. Perhaps in a darker environment it would be more brilliant but honestly I think it's cute for what it is. My lamp does touch the curled hanger a little bit (it doesn't look like it does in the picture of the product on Amazon) but...once again, doesn't affect anything. I would say it is a nice little gift for yourself or someone who likes cozy candle things...

Well...
I love the design, I love how it looks, but...1. Its small, the pictures kinda make ya feel like its going to be a LARGER lantern then it really is. Don't get me wrong! Its a good enough size but you'll only be burning Tea candles in it or ones roughly about that size.2. Red glass? So why does it give a orange glow...? You'd think it might even be more pinkish but no its actually orange! So a warning, if you plan to burn battery operated tea lights in it, it will be a Auburn orange! Good for Halloween though if ya get a black one too! A regular tealight or candle will give it a more red glow but now too strong. It does make pretty designs on a low ceiling though!3. It is abit "cheap." The metal seems good enough, I wont scratch or dent it if I touch it but the actual assembly seemed shabby to me mainly. The glass panels are EASILY removable, held in by a few metal tabs so they will rattle when touched or the lantern is moved. But if you get others like this you can atleast switch out the panels in all of them! :)Yet despite the cons, a few that slightly irritate me for odd reasons, I think its a cute and pretty lantern! Perfect for a soft night light, decoration (just keep out of kids reach if you put it near a edge! I HIGHLY doubt dropping would be good because it does have glass in it!), or even just for a mood setting candle holder at parties.A side note, with plastic flowers and a battery tea light it makes a very pretty center piece for the fall! The orange glow just really sets the mood! :D
