It's tiny and only tries to cook one side at a time as it just stuck and was never hot enough that pancakes need to cook went into bin.

This does one small pancake at a time and takes forever .so if you only require one then it fine.but a fun toy to have.

Double check size when ordering. TOO SMALL.

This comes with a recipe for American pancakes, it helps if you have pancake ingredients in the cupboard. If not using alternative flour doesn't really work - so I went to the shops and got everything I needed. Once the batter is mixed and the Gizmo is heated up you pour the mixture onto the plate and supposedly wait 2 - 4 mins for the pancake to cook, but it says you can leave longer to reach the desired finish. After 4 mins it still looks white, I actually ended up leaving mine for a good 10-15 mins to achieve an nice brown colour. The instructions suggest you keep them warm in the oven as you make a few, I ate mine as I went along. The mixture makes about 4, the reality is it took an hour to make 4 tiny pancakes which were not very good, the mixture still seems undercooked in the middle and stodgy. The Bottom cooks more than the top which depends on how much the mixture rises to meet the top plate. I even tried making a thinner pancake and flipping it halfway through. Overall its a great idea just not very practical, it would work better if it was bigger and the plates were not so deep.
