Plastic but still very nice.
my grandson uses this as a nightlight when he visits us. He likes it so much, he asked if he could take it home so I ordered the second one that now sits in his bedroom at home.🙂

My daughter loves it. She uses it as a night light. It’s just hard to see the country and states. The print is super tiny.
