Great Budget Motherboard with Impressive Longevity & Easy Updates
I purchased the MSI B450M-A PRO MAX II on 17 August for around ₹4,779, and I’m honestly impressed with what this board offers at this price. The 2.5 Gbps Ethernet works flawlessly and provides a stable, high-speed connection something you don’t usually find in this price range. The build quality is excellent it has a sleek, all-black PCB and feels very solid. What really stands out is how future-proof it is. MSI made sure this B450 board supports the entire AM4 lineup, including the latest Ryzen 5000 series. That’s rare for a budget board and adds great long-term value. Pros: Excellent 2.5G LAN performance for the price Future-proof AM4 support (up to Ryzen 5000 CPUs) Modern-looking BIOS and MSI Center software Super easy to update BIOS, drivers, and utilities — all in one place Cons / Issues I faced: I’m using G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (3200 MHz) RAM, but the system doesn’t boot when XMP is set to 3200 MHz. It works fine at 3000 MHz, so a slight limitation there. For a detailed hands-on experience, you can search on YouTube for “MSI B450M-A PRO MAX II review Raj HovNXTGen” I’ve shared my full review there. Overall, a great budget motherboard that still feels premium, reliable, and well-supported by MSI. Highly recommend it for Ryzen builds under a tight budget.

Heart Breaking Expeince With One of My Fav Brand MSI
Zero Filter Review – MSI B450M A Pro Max II I purchased the MSI B450M A Pro Max II on April 5, 2025. Initially, it worked fine, but just after 4 months, it began having issues. On August 8, 2025, I visited VK Raj (Nehru Place) for service. They initially promised to diagnose the issue within 24–48 hours, but it actually took them almost a week, and I had to repeatedly call them for updates—they never contacted me via phone or email as promised. One of the agents even misled me, saying that if the motherboard couldn’t be repaired, they would replace it with a brand new one. However, when I went to collect it on August 26, 2025, I was informed there’s no such policy and was instead handed a refurbished unit. Unfortunately, the replacement also had problems. It would only show the MSI logo and wouldn’t boot into Windows. I even installed a fresh copy of Windows, which ran briefly (10–15 minutes), but then the display stopped working again. Strangely, the background apps kept running. I tried every basic troubleshooting step: Swapped and cleaned RAM Updated BIOS Reapplied thermal paste Used different monitors and HDMI cables Switched SSDs for boot Despite all this, the issue persisted—just the "Pro Series" logo, then a blank screen. I contacted the service center again, and they simply asked me to send an email and revisit them. At this point, I’ve wasted nearly a month dealing with this issue, and there's still no proper resolution in sight. Final Thoughts: Before buying any product, I strongly urge everyone to research both the product and the brand’s service history. A good product means nothing without reliable after-sales support—and my experience with MSI and VK Raj (Nehru Place) has been deeply disappointing.
