CompTIA Security+ Get Certified Get Ahead: SY0-701 Study Guide

Read this book and it did help me understand the concepts of what I needed to know before the exam. I passed my exam on first hand. I recommend it. I also had to read some other books and practice exam questions as well.

Terrible copy. Pages missing the top if the the content. It seems to be a terrible print, I waited month for this book. It basically has 3/4 of the information and barely readable. Delivery was bad too.

I wasn't overly impressed with the information provided in this 701 study guide. I didn't feel the exam objectives were clearly explained enough.

Having looked at the 701 objectives in this book, it appears that there is information missing. I wouldn't recommend this book.

This book does not have all of the 701 objective. It looks mainly like cut and paste from Daril Gibson's 601 book with Joe Shelley adding some 701. I would be looking at another book, the bits that read very well have been included in the 601 book. This is not a co-author at Gibson RIP missed the new objectives b y 9 months.

I read the entire book along with the professor messor YouTube series. I used the Comptia Security+ app on the app store for practice questions. I scored a 792 on my exam.

Nicely laid out and good explanations of concepts. It has a really nice set of self assessment questions at the end of each chapter, and these actually furthered my understanding. Easy to read, good quality paper the book feels robust. Happy with the purchase.

Very detailed book! Helped me pass Comptia Sec + 1st attempt, the practice questions were very helpful as well. Highly recommend, but expect to do a lot of reading!
