This is designed to receive DMX commands via ARTNET over Wi-Fi and output over a standard 3-pin physical connector, meaning it would normally plug into the first of your light fixtures. However, if you connected this to a “donor” 3-pin wireless transmitter compatible with your fixtures it could also create a complete end to end wireless link.

Q: Will this work as a wifi transmitter?

yes ，our easynode 3-pin can produce its own 2.4Ghz WiFi hotspot ，so you can connect to this dongle directly from an iPad or iphone or any other mobile device via WiFi and plug it into a fixture, splitter, dimmer, or wireless transmitter such as the ones from Donner, and using an ArtNet/sACN capable app, control one universe of DMX512 without the need for extra equipment.

Q: How many individual units does this include?

The number of individual units depends on the number of channels of the fixture you are using，As long as the number of channels does not add up to 512，that will be fine.

Q: Can you use both the app and a regular DMX board?

yes， you can. In fact, our EasyNode is a DMX Board, but we are controlled by software, but if you want to use our EasyNode and Regular DMX Board to control the same lamp at the same time, it will cause conflict. It is not recommended to use this way.
