Fits like a Glove, the perfect Zf accessory
Fits like a glove. This grip is just perfect for the Zf form factors, providing a solid and safe rest for 2-3 fingers and making the camera much safer and effective to hold and shoot. The material of the grip itself is perfect -- soft yet solid. Also, the ARCA-Swiss compatible base is also a great benefit for tripod work. Highly recommend.

Fits the Zf perfectly
I have the Nikon Zf which is a great camera. I'm enjoying the retro style as I learned on a Nikon film camera years ago. Having since used several DSLR (and now mirrorless) cameras for work and travel, I've gotten used to built in grips for ease and comfort of holding a camera while shooting. I picked this up as it's made for the Zf and is recommended by many in reviews. This definitely fits the camera and is the best accessory for the Zf other than lenses. It greatly decreases fatigue and makes the camera easier to hold. The Zf is my daily carry and travel camera and I use it with a wrist strap as opposed to a neck strap. I like to be able to easily pull the camera out of my shoulder/messenger bag to shoot, and put it away after just as easily. You should get this. I am enjoying the Zf even more with it.

Almost perfect!
UPDATE: Small Rig reached out to me to offer a refund, which shows how awesome of a company they are and with that gesture I have absolutely no worry purchasing from them again. I've updated my rating to reflect that, and also to say that the slippery-ness of my grip has been getting better from repeated uses of alcohol wipes. I believe in my case it was a manufacturing flaw, but I'm not too worried now. It's meant to be used and overall I do feel it's worth the money, therefore I turned down the refund. Thank you Small Rig for reaching out to try to make things right. This fits the Zf perfectly, and it feels great in the hand especially if you're shooting one handed. In my particular case, I tend to use a wrist strap more than my neck strap, so with the grip it's super secure when in a down position and the camera is pretty much hanging from my fingers. It matches the Zf nicely as well. I wished the bottom plate was a little shorter, but definitely not a deal breaker. The one thing I absolutely hate about this grip is that the rubber grip seems to release some type of slippery/oily substance. It's weird, as I don't see anybody else mentioning thing. When I first noticed how slippery the grip was, I assumed it was from my hand from foods and whatnot. Wiped it down along with my hands. It kept happening and happening, and I kept doing the same thing, clean both the grip and my hands. One day I decided to wipe the grip down with alcohol wipes, and let it sit there overnight. The next morning, making sure my hands were washed and dry, I picked up the camera and the grip was slippery! It felt like it had a thin layer of oil over it. Then to make sure I wasn't crazy, I cleaned it again and when I checked a couple hours later, sure enough, slippery. What is the deal Small Rig???

A very nice and functional grip for the Nikon ZF
The media could not be loaded. I love the Nikon Zf but like most everyone else I found holding the camera with larger lenses not too great. This grip solves that problem and looks like it belongs on the camera . It has a sticky and soft feel and allows access to the battery and. Memory card . It’s just slightly harder to change the sd card but not a big deal for me . The Arca Swiss style tripod mount is handy too . I would love to try some of the wood grips that are on the market to compare , but I feel like this one will end up being a keeper

Nice grip for the Zf
Whether the Zf needs an additional grip is very subjective. I ordered this grip when I decided to purchase the Zf because of how I intended to use the camera. It has a built in arca Swiss bottom rail to make mounting to a trip quick and easy. It also offers the bottom of the camera some protection from rough surfaces when setting the camera down. I put the grip on right away and haven’t really tried using the camera without out but I can tell it makes the camera easier to carry when using a wrist strap. The grip is well built and solid. It can quickly be taken off or put on without tools. The material of the rubber portion feels different than on the body of the Zf. With the grip attached, it can make it more difficult to remove the memory cards due to the limited space between the bottom rail and the card slots. I think this would be the case with other grips for the Zf too since it’s related to the card slot placement and not so much the design of the grip. I would recommend this grip.

Added grip is added comfort
I bought the small rig for my Nikon Zf camera. So much more comfortable if you use your camera all the time. It doesn’t add much weight and any whatever it adds is offset by the comfort. Also makes my fingers in a more useful and natural place while using the camera. Definitely worth it if you are using other full frame lenses which add size and weight & change the weight distribution of the camera/lens. Great value for the money.

Larger and soft hand grip, greatly improves handling of the Zf with those of us with large hands
Compared to other grips, I thought this both felt better and was easier to handle. Competitive models (that are a bit less expensive) have a metal hand grip. The SmallRig feels similar to the older F100/F5 cameras. My ONLY complaint, the frame around the battery door makes extracting the SD card difficult (again with large hands). I do like the grip though.

Fits great!
Great fit. Well made. Easy to install and I can even add my tripod clip or my peak design clip.I can open the batter door and get the battery in and out with ease. I would purchase again.
